Another good one from Parker! Predators are where the prey is. People harmful to minors are not on adult sites watching verified adult creators playing into consensual fantasies. They are where the kids are. By the school. At home. In roblox, skibiditoilet comments and 'Safe for kids" places.

On the *same day* the Cornell Seven drugged and raped Jane Doe, Cornell banned four students (including the President of Cornell JVP) from campus for three years for nonviolent, pro-Palestine protests. The same Cornell officials let the rapists off with apology essays.

I'm having weird grief. Someone I knew well for 7 years, who I constantly argued with and openly disliked, recently killed himself. He was abusive to his kids and I spent years talking him out of hitting them. He was often bigoted. And I've been crying since I read about his suicide in the news.

Now he'll never get a chance to be better. The last thing I said to him was that I could never forgive him for being abusive to his kids as long as he kept joking about the after-effects of that abuse, and not making any amends or even acknowledging to the kids it was wrong to hit them.

God you fucking asshole, you were supposed to live until my daughter is an adult so I could prove I wasn't holding you to an unreasonably high standard. I told you I would. You were supposed to live and argue and improve. Now you're dead and I feel guilty that my body is forcing me to grieve you.

He'd get a kick out of how devastated I am. He'd be a bigot, he'd bait me, and he'd also seek approval when he did something good or kind or made an improvement. I told him I hated him and he laughed and said I liked him deep down despite my hatred of his ideas. I guess he wins. I care.

Harrowing account of trans fatherhood in the NHS. I'm so angry that any of this happened, and the idea that the post-ehrc climate could make outcomes worse.

The phenomenon of non-binary people who don't consider themselves trans is linked to others using cissexual to describe non-binary people who don't medically transition. One isn't more transmedicalist of a framing than the other, it's just one includes the speaker being direct.

I describe all non-binary people as trans, though not push people on using the label individually, because that's what it means to not exclusively be the gender you were assigned at birth.

What I do think many of us are searching for is a way to describe what it's like to live in a transsexual body and we're too poisoned by medicalised language and slurs and awful anti non binary discourse that we can't find our way to it and hate people who pick different words.

Frankly I think my experiences are much more similar to transitioning trans men who are not also non binary than to non binary people of any gender combo who do not medically transition.

None of us are more or less valid in our genders, which is an expression I don't care much for anyway (who cares if people think someone is valid, it's what you are, let's talk about how it impacts our lives).

If I'm talking about discrimination I face as a non binary person, I do feel like I have to clarify that I'm transexual too. There are so many times that my medical transition or need to medically transition has hugely impacted my life.

Whether you love a cosy romance, a protagonist suffering a relatable heartbreak, the found family trope, or character studies focusing on family dynamics, there will be something here for you!

If this interests you, please share it! The project can only get funded if enough people consider it worth backing, and I'd really love to get sex workers paid. Anything about sex work online gets censored so your sharing means a lot.

I couldn't find many direct comparisons of trans guys bodies before, during and after pregnancy like this when I was trying, so here. First picture is 3 years on T. Second picture is at 41 weeks pregnant. Third picture is at 8.5 months post-partum, 7.5 months back on T.

Things I'm now doing post-partum after initial recovery: -Losing fat and building muscle to speed up fat redistribution to look more masc (on a glp-1 to be transparent). - Using minoxidil to help with facial hair. - Higher dose to T to stay upper end of male range.

If any of you are scared of doing intramuscular injections for your testosterone or estrogren (or anything really), I wrote about how I do mine as a guide for myself and it may be useful to you. It's easy, fast, relatively painless, and I do it every week. jackviolet.com/2026/06/30/d...

Any other oldheads every pause and stare in absolute awe at how far the word “TERF” has drifted from its original meaning? That people will now even apply it to neoliberal centrists and shit? Even conservative men? What is even the point of the word when it basically just means “transphobe”?

The way I cope with processing trauma is through humour, but stopping in the middle of a story to go, "Oh, yeah, I definitely got molested. That's a textbook 'I was molested as a kid' thing to say," disturbs a lot of people. For understandable reason! Much to consider.

I've heard people call it a second traumatization to be called to prove you were raped and subject to disbelief/questioning, but something I see acknowledged less is the way that trauma gets dug up and makes you sick every time you see other survivors being called liars.

Seeing people defend Michael Jackson or Melanie Martinez or Neil Gaiman or Kevin Spacey or Johnny Depp... I really couldn't care less who your comfort object celebrity rapist is, your defence of them tells me you buy into anti rape victim propaganda.
