Now that it's all finalized, I'm happy to report that I will be in Fukuoka from Nov-Apr. I ended up getting accepted into Fukuoka JaLS (30+👴) and now it's all paid for and flights are booked so there's no turning back. It is exciting and scary at the same time.

my favorite code comment ever is that one time I was trying to figure out why a certain file format converter didn't seem to be doing anything, and then I go down multiple layers of obfuscation only to find that the code is missing, and above the gap is the comment: // wow! I just stopped caring!

FINALLY FINISHED!! Behold, my entry for this year's @desertbus.org : A Hollow Knight/Silksong bug mask display! The masks are made of porcelain, with some thread for Lace. I stained, varnished, and lined the wooden display cabinet myself. The masks are attached by magnets. I hope folks like it!
