Pretty clear to me there’s a very good case against this man for mass murder, and I’m saying that in as measured a fashion as I can. He’s order the killing of 234 people under no plausible war or legal justification. I am skeptical he will ever face legal accountability for til his but he should.

💯. Congress granted the power on the condition of the constraint and to think they would've been ok with the executive having these powers without the constraint without saying so is perhaps one of the clearest violations of the "major questions doctrine" I can possibly think of.

So now, in effect, Congress needs a veto-proof majority (good luck with that) to reclaim its own constitutional powers, despite never having intended to confer those powers on the executive in an unrestricted form.

This is a dangerous pattern with this Court: They find a delegation paired with a constraint, decide they don’t like the constraint, but appear totally untroubled by the idea that Congress delegated the power only *because* prior precedent assured them their constraints would be binding.
