Nabu Casa

Amazing article from @jp2e.bsky.social explaining why we changed Home Assistant Cloud to Link. We hate what big tech has done to the cloud... we even took the cloud out of our logo www.theverge.com/tech/1003936...

3 years ago we announced the Home Assistant Green 🟩. The coolest part is since launch it keeps getting better: 300+ more integrations, big leaps in Matter support, easier than ever to use Home Assistant & more. Thanks everyone who picked one up, you're funding these improvements

If you're using Home Assistant Cloud’s speech-to-text feature, we're testing a big improvement in its ability to handle accents, background noise, and languages other than English. Test it in Labs today: support.nabucasa.com/hc/en-us/art...

Nabu Casa is heading to IFA Berlin! 🇩🇪 Catch us at the @openhomefoundation.org booth (Hall 1.2-153) anytime to chat, or drop by to say hi 👋 to Carl on Sept 7th from 3:00 to 3:30 pm.

Yesterday, Nabu Casa turned 8 years old 🎂! It’s truly amazing that something designed to fund open source projects has been thriving all these years, thanks to the support of our amazing community. We don’t need VCs or private equity; we have you 💗.

In case you missed it: Home Assistant now supports the latest version of Matter (1.6). If you're looking to run the newest devices all fully locally, a great place to start is a Home Assistant Green paired with a Connect ZBT-2. www.home-assistant.io/blog/2026/06...

Sounds like we need some awesome official hardware to proxy some things 😏... brb
