If anyone’s local to Boston, I’m performing in a radio theater (w/ live foley!) production of three spooky short plays (my show is a non-racist/ableist adaptation of Lovecraft’s “Beyond the Wall of Sleep”) we have 3 shows left! @pmrpboston.bsky.social pmrp.org/events/fear/...

bites you bites you bites you carved a pumpkin 🎃

Saw Wildwood tonight and it was INCREDIBLE. An epic feat of stop motion animation; the biggest middle finger to GenAI slop. Countless hours of work went into this film and I saw it tonight with a packed theater. Fucking INCREDIBLE theater experience.

Currently, Hasbro’s guidelines keep us from having total ownership over the work we make in our free time. Our union aims to change that and ensure we own what we make in our free time. actionnetwork.org/forms/uwotcp...

It is an immense privilege to have GUDIYA discussed critically alongside other great works like Devi, Sinners, and Obsession 🫣 I'm so grateful to have gotten to work with such a talented cast and crew 🦚 Go watch this review, y'all! & then watch the others Amaan has done before!

Not the top Steam review of Dressmaker making me cry this morning!

I've seen tons of folks who have guested, panelled, or ran games for PAX and other ReedPop events make a ton of noise about this, also the same people have their panels rejected or tossed out. Or would be refreshing to see publishers and vendors make noise about this for once.

It's a new week, Bluesky. Trust no poll. Trust no pundit. Vote early if you can. Vote in person if you can.

I’m sure you have seen the buzz around this video but when you have 4 minutes, it’s 100% worth watching

Yesterday, Wizards informed us that it doesn’t intend to voluntarily recognize the D&D or Studio X units of our union ahead of a vote. We remain committed to creating a workplace focused on wellness, transparency, and collaboration by winning our coming election.

I'm noticing that quite a few people don't know that I've transitioned, and it has caused some confusion. Last weekend at Rincon, someone thought I was my own wife. So, yay for proper gendering, but boo for my communication skills. So! I used to be Connor. I'm Kenna now! She/her.

Got to dance in public with strangers today at a live activist music festival in the streets of Somerville (shoutout to Honk Fest!) and I think it fixed something in me. Saw three bands playing on the five minute walk home from the train station to my house. COMMUNITY is healing.

I’ve seen Black people across social media platforms talking about picnics at lynchings and so many white people are in our mentions insisting that the last public execution was 1936 and that lynchings were “mob murder” not state sanctioned. So confidently loud and incredibly wrong.

I absolutely don’t blame you. Having PTI Fellows and an accessible space were such awesome ways to show up for the underrepresented people in this community, to say nothing of the disabled, which is the largest marginalized group and the only inevitable one.

Hi I need money. Hire me for stuff so I can move out. Virtual assistant stuff Online spicy content management Branding / marketing voice consultation Korean American relations consultation The more behind the scenes the better bc idk how reliable camera facing I can be right now ✌🏼

Was making jello last night and my other partner opens the fridge an hour later and goes “…who the FUCK put a pan of olive oil in here???” I was confused until I saw what she was seeing and—

If you want to support our efforts at United Wizards of the Coast, the absolute best thing you can do is sign and share our petition asking the company to voluntarily recognize us! Together we can change the games industry for the better! actionnetwork.org/forms/uwotcp...

The Dungeons & Dragons and Magic: The Gathering teams at Wizards of the Coast have just announced they're unionizing. In a letter of demands, the union has urged Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast leaders to stop pushing generative AI. https://bit.ly/4hMhPzG

@anarisis.dylangrinder.com @naladraws.com you're right I got excited by a design challenge and a tool that assisted in making that possible, and overlooked the damage to the community that it was intended to serve, all rationalized out of the sake of ambition. It wasn't the right way.

Boosting this again

anyone with company connections going to PAXU who may have an extra room? My group & my housing fell through and now I’m seeking a room for a Thursday check in-Monday check out The price through the portal was about $1500 so I’m looking for something comparable. 4 people, 2 beds ideally.

ART SCHOOL BULLSHIT — helped a friend paint a 6ft diameter summoning circle Halloween decoration COMPLETELY FREEHANDED (no stencil) Very happy I got to use my degree for something I specifically learned how to do while in school 😩

I got to run a game of For the Queen at the con and had a BLAST—and two of my players immediately went and bought a copy from @sidequestbooks.bsky.social immediately after 🤭🙂‍↕️🫶🏼 I’m exhausted but it’s SO rewarding seeing the efforts of you & your team’s hard work pay off 🥺

Gaymer Fest #ootd 🙂‍↕️💖 all volunteers & staff wore purple so this was my fit 🫶🏼 This was my first time helping to organize an event to this scale and I’m very proud of all of our work!!! Also @lyla.bsky.social is the best PM ever. THEE GOAT, tbh. Couldn’t have done my job without her 😩

PTI lounge has had such a positive impact on me as a multiple marginalized person working in this industry. It’s shameful that PAX / ReedPop doesn’t see the benefits to putting MONEY and RESOURCES towards creating space for the MOST marginalized folks to feel safe.

I’ve been MIA bc I’m the TTRPGs director organizing all the TTRPG organized play for a local gaming convention, Gaymer Fest—hosted by @bostongaymers.bsky.social :3

ed sheeran has certainly not covered himself in glory but he’s at best a miniboss here. if his concert get canceled but everyone pours into Gillette Stadium for the next pop star or nfl game, then Robert Kraft and his pals still effectively got what they wanted.
