ā€œā€¦that do one, two things — hatred, war and victimization.ā€ That’s 3 things, Harvard Man.

The Bulwark@thebulwark.com

RFK: "There's five hundred million Arabs in the world. And yet they don't produce science. They don't win the Nobel Prize. They don't win the Fields Prize. They don't win the Wolf Prize. They don't produce literature."

Despite what some GOP politicians have been saying, Trump isn’t ā€œthrowing Zelenskyy under the busā€ā€¦ more accurately, he’s purposefully ā€œthrowing Ukrainians under Putin’s tank treadsā€.

Wow — that would be a really big problem if there were any buildings left standing in Palestine…

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Trump: "The one I like the best is 'Gays for Palestine.' You know what they do if you happen to be gay? They throw you off the top of a building."

Yeah, I’m thinking they can get UFC to produce it from the White House helipad — seating for 12,000 ticket holders and online streaming…

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Hegseth on Nidal Hasan: "He's gonna get a firing squad of soldiers. As it should be. We'll make sure that people are able to watch it. That it's public. Because people need to understand that there's serious consequences for these types of things."

Holy Craptastic — and we thought Richard Nixon was really, really bad…

Adam Klasfeld@klasfeldreports.com

"The Trump administration pushed the FBI to investigate Los Angeles protesters in violation of their constitutional rights and the bureau’s policies, a former FBI supervisor alleges in a new whistleblower complaint." NBC's indefatigable @ryanjreilly.com reports buff.ly/bBe5Xnz

Yes, these are worrying political times we live in — but imagine how frightening it would be if Republican politicians and their enablers had more than three brain cells to rub together…

So: if Israel is ā€œbuyingā€ $2.8B of American munitions BUT the American taxpayer is actually footing the bill — is it actually a ā€œsaleā€?!? Sounds more like a ā€œgiftā€ to me… SO STOP CALLING IT A F’ING SALE, NYT!!!

So Donald says (in response to SCOTUS ā€œmail ballotsā€ decision): ā€œIt is a Court that will go down as having rendered some of the most destructive, hurtful, and damaging decisions in our Country’s historyā€. And he’s absolutely correct — just not for the reason he thinks…

ā€œand if you elect me Student Council President I promise we’ll have a McDonalds in the cafeteria and a Senior Prom three times a year,,.ā€

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Rachel Campos-Duffy on Trump's $5k offer to voters if they vote Republican: "This just shows how creative and rule-breaking and out of the box President Trump is. I'm surprised nobody has thought of this before."

Out today: Nearly 2,000 juniors across 16 high schools in Houston ISD were pulled from Algebra II and placed in a remedial math course. At some schools, as many as 70% of juniors were similarly demoted into less challenging classes. It wasn't due to poor performance ...

texasobserver.orgThe ā€˜Houston Miracle’ Shell GameHow Houston ISD’s takeover regime inflated school accountability ratings by systematically holding back certain students

Wha?!? Of course they can ā€œget any more craven than thisā€ — you just need to give them an hour or two.

Incredible nonsense from John Cornyn. True, the harm to Epstein’s victims can’t be remedied by a ā€œnoā€ vote. But why should Blanche’s corrupt cover-up of the Epstein files—in violation of a Congressional mandate(!)—be rewarded by ā€œyesā€? Can’t get any more craven than this.

I love watching Stephen’s voice getting louder and higher with each passing word. It’s almost like he’s getting some kind of Verbal Stiffy just hearing himself yell.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Stephen Miller: "President Trump is the one who questioned the need for requiring every single American to be tested over and over and over again" (Yeah, we remember!)

You mean I can vote on an airplane so long as I have a picture ID? I had no idea!

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Scalise: "Anybody that gets on an airplane has to show a picture ID to vote. Nowadays, if you want to go to Olive Garden and get unlimited pasta, you gotta show a picture ID. This isn't complicated stuff."

Oh. So JD thinks there’s a ā€œloopholeā€ in the Constitution that needs to be ā€œfixedā€? I’m sure he believes that’s true.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Vance says the midterms are big because Republicans are one SCOTUS seat from ending birthright citizenship

So I’m hearing that there are four SCOTUS justices who can’t read? The Constitution simply couldn’t be any clearer — there IS a 14th Amendment and its words mean just one thing that requires NO interpretation.

I think what J.D. is trying to say is ā€œwe’re so bad even Nixon is starting to look good.ā€ It’s his way of demonstrating Einstein’s Theory Of Relativity.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

JD Vance: "I think Nixon's historical legacy is enjoying a bit of a renaissance, and deservedly so. I joked that if Watergate happened tomorrow, it would be like a 12 hours news story. The idea that it took down a presidency is crazy."

So instead of ā€œFlorida manā€¦ā€ we now have ā€œFlorida doctor…?!?

Mia Farrow@miafarrow.bsky.social

Florida Surgeon General announced ALL vaccine mandates will be ended As a polio survivor, i was joyous when a vaccine became available. No other child would endure such fear & suffering. He said "who am i to tell u what to put in your body. it's God's business". Hes a doctor! This is lunacy

Who’s paying that $765 million? Start that post with ā€œWhen you and Iā€ and it’s a lot closer to the reality of it all.

Michael J. Stern@michaeljstern.bsky.social

When you are paying $765 million to companies to get them to cancel clean, renewable energy projects, you are screaming to the world that you are a corrupt fossil fuel lobbyist bitch who does not give a damn about what's best for America. www.nytimes.com/2026/06/17/c...

ā€œPresident Trump was as transparent about this today as we’ve heard him so farā€ is kind of like saying ā€œThe new Whitesnake album is every bit as good as their previous oneā€ā€¦

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Sen. Jim Banks: "I'll take President Trump's word. I trust President Trump."

The Republican Party quietly deleted their own ad attacking Ken Paxton's record on crime... because Paxton is now the Republican Party's nominee to represent Texas in the U.S. Senate. Figured if the ad is important enough to delete, it's important enough to see...

I don’t know about you, but this looks like a vast improvement to me. I hope it’s Gorilla Tape…

Gov. Jared Polis, fresh off being censured by the Colorado Democratic Party for letting Tina Peters out of prison early, showed up today to a private, internal party call like this #copolitics

I just finished reading the entire transcript of today’s hearing in the Broadview Six matter. If this doesn’t put a nail in the coffin of ā€œpresumption of regularityā€ as it applies to the ENTIRE DOJ (or should it now be ā€œDepartment Of Trump’s Retributionā€?) I don’t know what will.

Absolutely deserves about 200 reposts.

Thomas Massie: ā€œToday is the six month anniversary of the Epstein Transparency Act. We’ve taken out two dozen CEOs, an ambassador, a prince, a prime minister, a minister of culture, that was just six months. I’ve got seven months left in Congress.ā€ video courtesy @acyn.bsky.social

Such an outright lie. People were prosecuted because they broke the law. Full stop.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

JD Vance: "Let's turn the page on this we did under the last administration where we tried to throw people in prison because they had the wrong politics"
