You know that scene in an action movie when the bad guy runs through the kitchen of a restaurant and pulls down all the pots and pans behind him to slow down his pursuers? We're in that part of the Trump presidency.

Hey, all you rational smart people that left Twitter, who are enjoying the warm and fuzzy here on Bluesky. America needs you. Get your asses back over there.

Do you want to know who’s manipulating the next administration? Although this book was written in 2019, it’s even more relevant now. We’re at the eve of a federal govt run not by politicians but by those who want to remake our country.

Mike’s articles will give you a glimpse of the struggles that victims of the #lafires are going through.

Folks have asked what they can do to support my work that isn't financially based. I get it, things are rough right now. The best thing you can do that costs nothing is to read and share my website as I document our rebuilding and trauma. It helps. Themikerothschild.com

If you currently work in the federal government, your most important job may be to eventually become a witness! Figure out now how you would communicate anonymously with journalists like myself. FWIW, my email is phil [dot] williams [at] newschannel5 [dot] com. www.forbes.com/advisor/busi...

I have 214.6K followers, and I figure at least some of them are looking to gift books this holiday season, so: HEY AUTHORS OF BLUESKY: In the comments to this post, tell us (briefly!) about your most recent book, and put in a link to where people can learn more and/or buy the book in question. Go!

For those of you excoriating Time, ‘Person of the Year’ isn’t an endorsement. On January 2, 1939, TIME had this to say about choosing Adolf Hitler as their “Person of the Year”: “Hitler became in 1938 the greatest threatening force that the democratic, freedom-loving world faces today.”

I followed @jentaub.Baku.social for a couple years on Twitter. Same for the other account that blocked me here. No pushback. This is how a social media bubble forms; ignoring, muting, and blocking those with a differing opinion.

🧵 “Laying aside the debate over what is and isn’t ’torture,’ it’s hard to argue with 8+ years of safety since 9/11.” -Pete Hegseth in a 2009 op-Ed he wrote for National Review Online regarding torture at Guantanamo Bay.

The Republicans in Congress promoting DOGE don’t need Musk or Ramaswamy to “fix gov’t.” They can do it themselves. They’re celebrating having 2 scapegoats available so they can look voters in the eye and say “not my fault.”

Jared Moscowitz is joining the DOGE caucus, ostensibly because gov’t waste needs to be addressed. Dems are now threatening to primary him. Dems need someone on the inside, so just fucking stop your nonsense.
