Trump filing lawsuits against media companies is the political equivalent of my dog humping a male visitor’s leg.

4/4 We have little power to check this greed. Obviously I’m sad a human was murdered. And as a small provider, I felt like a point was scored for all of those who got screwed so that Mr. CEO could get stupid rich.

3/The stated reasons are issues not in our contracts with UHC, e.g., didn’t write progress note within 48 hrs. This isn’t to ensure ethical, needed treatment for clients. It’s obviously a way for UHC to improve their claim approval ratings while squeezing providers.

2/I am a therapist in private practice. UHC is the worst to deal with. Their latest move is to request client records and then look for a reason to reclaim payments that have been made. Not because the client didn’t have coverage. Or the therapist didn’t provide the service. . .

1/Disappointed in the @slate.bsky.social political gabfest lack of nuance when discussing murder of UHCCEO. Yes @davidplotz.bsky.social and Emily: street executions are bad. About 2/3 into discussion before @jdickerson.bsky.social raised the issue of profit goals in health care.
