Last day of "What's holding you back" founders survey insights: There’s a strong demand for practical, actionable advice. You’re not looking for theory — you want clear steps, quick wins, and real stories from founders who’ve been in your shoes.

The most helpful content isn’t just inspiring — it’s structured, simple, and actionable. What this means for you: If you’ve felt overwhelmed by ideas but unsure how to take action, you’re not alone. #buildinpublic

Be honest: how many times this week have you felt completely drained but pushed on anyway? This next survey finding is a big one. 👇 #buildinpublic

Second insight from my founder survey: Mental wellbeing matters. Alongside business challenges, founders are feeling the weight of burnout and staying motivated — a reminder that building something great takes both strategy and self-care.

What this means for you: If you’ve felt exhausted or struggled to stay motivated, that’s not a sign of weakness — it’s a sign that you’re doing hard, meaningful work. More founders are recognizing that taking care of themselves is key to building something great. #buildinpublic

Talked to a bunch of SaaS founders lately about what's bugging them. Turns out, it's rarely just ONE thing. Procrastination, feeling lost, and the scaling monster all seem to show up for the party at the same time.

If you're feeling pulled in a million directions, you're probably right. Figuring out which direction matters most feels like the first step. #saas #founders #buildinpublic

This is insight 1/3 of my founders survey "What's holding you back?" Tune in tomorrow for the second one! What's pulling you away from doing the thing you're supposed to right now? #buildinpublic

I promised you the survey results of technical early stage SaaS founders, what's really holding them back? What are the common struggles and surprising insights that you can learn from? Follow me so you don't miss it, tomorrow I'll start with surprising insight 1 of 3! #buildinpublic

I asked early stage saas founders about their struggles in a survey and I promised to share the results. Stay tuned, really surprising results!

I’m still here, just more quiet. I did the classic mistake: Trying to handle too many channels. But I learned more about me and my voice. I will share more about it in the next days. Hold me accountable ! How did it feel the last time you came back from a reflective Pause? #buildinpublic

17 founders have shared their biggest struggles so far, seeing surprising trends. What’s yours? (Survey closes soon) 👇

Before I started my entrepreneurial journey, I chased novelty, I feared creating. „This idea already exists… I’m just repeating others.“ Original thought is hard!! It doesn’t matter. People want to hear what YOU have to say—your perspective matters to the right people. Rebel. Create. Grow. 🦦

Shifted my mindset by starting to create, regardless of what others think. I’m a chef, DJ, InteriorDesigner, Editor, teacher, entrepreneur. I’m curating experiences through my lens: „Everything is a remix“ Your lived experience + reflection = originality. Hope this helps someone. #buildinpublic

Repeat after me: Your network is your net worth. Thanks for coming to my TED talk. Took me years to understand this simple thing. It’s one of the few regrets I have, should’ve started sooner. The energy I receive from quality connections is intoxicating. I hope I can just give as much back!

Almost didn’t publish my podcast today: perfectionism, fear of failure, anxiety almost got the better part of me. Taking a walk, focusing back on the process helped me push through it. So here it is, I share 5 practical networking building tips. Make it less awkward and more rewarding!

How often I’ve heard:„I have no time“, when we all have 24 hours. So what’s the difference between success and staying where you are? Reframing it. „It’s not my priority“ Now you chose deliberately what you do. And yes, we want many things - but what is it you want the most? #buildinpublic

I used to suck at LinkedIn. My posts got 3 comments, 12 reactions, and mostly silence. Then I made 3 simple tweaks, and suddenly: 14 comments, 89 reactions. 🚀 The crazy part? Conversions still suck. Here’s what worked & what I’m fixing: 🧵 #marketing #linkedin #buildinpublic

Marketing = Attention → Engagement → Action. I fixed Attention & Engagement. Now I need to fix Action. I’ll report back on what actually works.

Now I’m tackling conversions (aka, getting engagement to actually do something). What I’m testing next: 🔹 Soft CTAs (not just dropping a link and praying) 🔹 DMing engaged people (without being weird) 🔹 Focusing on pain points & transformations

What boosted my engagement: ✅ Tagging relevant people (social proof + reach) ✅ Adding a selfie (reluctantly, but it worked) ✅ Leading with value instead of promoting something These 5X’d my engagement—but likes don’t pay the bills.

I speak for all of us when I say we blocked ourselves before, procrastination, fear of failure, lacking confidence. Which other ways you’ve blocked yourself? Let’s share and learn, I’ll start: Took me years to learn that true understanding comes from deliberately exposing yourself. #buildinpublic

What if procrastination is not a time management problem, but an emotion regulation problem? We avoid writing the email, launching that product - because it makes us feel uncomfortable, bored, disgusted. Adam Grant argues exactly that, and I subscribe to that idea. #buildinpublic

15 years of professional software engineering leadership have taught me that most technical problems are people problems. High EQ acts as a multiplier to your tech skills(ever played Ballatro, then you understand x2 Jokers) #buildinpublic #softwareengineering

Have you used ChatGPT for personal growth questions? Recently I asked "What is EQ. Chat with me to assess it" That was unsatisfying, so I added: "Yes, let’s go deeper with more questions one by one. Use a scientific community consensus approach(dunno what’s up to date these days)"

Wanna do this yourself? Here is the Prompt: "I want to reflect on my emotional intelligence (EQ). Ask me thoughtful questions one by one, helping me uncover my patterns in handling emotions, relationships, and challenges. At the end, summarize my strengths and areas for growth." #buildinpublic

My Key Learnings * Balance logic & emotion – People connect through feelings, not just reasoning. Learning to meet them where they are strengthens relationships.

All the areas: * Self-Awareness & Emotional Regulation * Empathy & Social Awareness * Social Skills & Relationship Management * Self-Regulation & Growth * Emotional Adaptability & Perspective-Taking * Resilience & Emotional Processing * Identity & Emotional Stability * Legacy & Meaning

Now we are onto something! "what you’re describing aligns with alexithymia-like tendencies—which isn’t a disorder, just a spectrum where some people naturally find it harder to identify, describe, or process emotions." So the rabbit hole begins:

My vibe right now

Trying to please other people with your actions is weakness of the heart. People love you today and hate you tomorrow. Better focus on the *right* things. Everything else will follow.
