Maybe the real question isn’t “Who’s winning the argument?” Maybe it’s: “Why does it feel like ordinary people are losing no matter who wins?” I’m curious how others see it: what’s the biggest thing making life in the U.S. feel more unstable right now: money, politics, culture, or something else?

A lot of people are exhausted, not because they don’t care, but because they care too much and feel powerless. That’s why the loudest voices dominate while the most thoughtful people go quiet.

And the frustrating part? Both sides keep treating outrage like a strategy. Outrage gets attention, attention gets clicks, clicks get money, and the actual problem stays unsolved.

What’s getting harder in America isn’t just affordability or division. It’s trust. People don’t trust the government, institutions, news, corporations, each other or even themselves these days. Once trust goes, everything else gets more fragile and uneasy

The United States is in a weird place right now, just like everyone saying they want honesty, but the second someone tells the truth too bluntly, people start fighting over it. That tension is everywhere; politics, media, jobs, dating, even family wise 🤦🏼‍♂️
