Vespa, practicing my clusterwork. Big thanks to the people from @nauris.bsky.social' Discord server for the feedback. Interested in an animation like this, or another work of pixelart? My commissions are open! Take a look at the Google Forms in my bio or send me a message. #pixelart

Where would one buy some medieval armor pieces for a decent price? Important part is it be actual metal, not super important to be 100% accurate, but not temu slop, too.

Im not trying to anger anyone, but bluesky has too much cute/wholesome art(if that's even a thing) and I really need to find some more people who do more realistic or dark art? Any suggestions?

I'm immensely proud to announce that my texture library that's been in the making for nearly a decade is now available on my itchio store for indie devs to purchase commercial licenses. makkon.itch.io

After saving the last pic i reposted to my inspo folder, i realized i hadn't saved any pixelart there for 2 whole years, which means i haven't seen pixelart that inspired me for 2 whole years until today. Which begs the further question - whats the best pixelart youve seen in the last 2 years?

Man art is weird. I used to just make cool ambitious pieces in pixelart, but now that I touched on traditional and digital more, I feel like my skills are nowhere near good enough and I dont like anything Im making, so Im kinda stuck in this practice hole.

Everything outside of work is basically just a study or something of sorts. How tf do I get over this and enjoy my own work so I can create original pieces again.

Tried soft pastels for the first time, so naturally the first thing you have to draw is a skull study. Overall love the workflow, super easy, much easier than oilpainting, the only problem is using fixative, as when I did it half the artwork disappeared lol.(Pic before fixative)

Water...! Five frame loop. Migraine-inducing nightmare to draw, massive regrets halfway through. Next: rivers (and associated features), lakes?, and some impassable rocky coast/ocean tiles.

More plein air, this one was really hard to get the dappled light read like light, felt like I had to change stuff around quite a bit. Halfway through wanted to scrap it, but kept going and think it turned out alright

Now be honest, did you like it because of the painting, or the picture of the whole thing together with the actual church there behind + the painting? Or did you just like the church?
