It feels like crawling hoping to some day start walking, hoping I will eventually reach at my destination by moving in this direction with no actual map of where I am going, just a feeling of saying “head this way”

I literally did a double take while quickly doom scrolling that hellscape app. But it was too late, my feed had refreshed, to another article about Sarah leaving too??? WHAAAT?!?!?

store.steampowered.com/app/3255890/... Today, I finished 'Relooted'. This is an extremely satisfying puzzle platformer with a very innovative blend of mechanics making for a unique style of a heist game. At once a satisfying brain puzzle, smooth speedrunning platformer, and a cathartic hero story.

There’s no game that’s aura farming quiet like Bungie’s Marathon. I don’t even have the faintest idea of whether or not it’s a decent game, but off visual aesthetic vibes alone? It’s looking GOATed

If this sounds incoherent (and confusing) it’s because this framework (and its parent language at large) are f***ing in coherent at best.

Inside my function (that represents a “component”) I need to call a function with callback function that specifies what “interfaces” of the parent function are callable by anyone calling the parent??? Loool. If this sounds like objects, classes and interfaces done extremely poorly it’s because it is

My body breaks into hives whenever I have to come up to speed with modern day web development. Specifically, JavaScript. It such a horrible language.

Slowly but surely trudging through learning modern JavaScript, specifically, ReactJS. The bad news is that I am finding every single moment excruciating.

It kinda feels like I missed the last ship to Mars. Having worked so hard, so long to scrounge up enough to afford the trip.

You can commission me ✌️ This is the kind of thing I do. You can share that post to help me, if you want 🙏

A function declaration in a function?

Some of you might know this story, but someone requested it as a reply to this thread, so I'll do that. What you should know about me is that I've always had trouble with airport security, especially in the United States. I have 7 very Arabic names, and I travel a lot around the entire planet.

This post is unavailable.

My experience watching @manutdfc.bsky.social vastly improved when I muted and/or unfollowed all the Man United “content creators”. Turns out watching the club is pretty fun when you don’t have an XG sofascore analyst crying about statistics.

Turns out it's really easy to get me to buy indie games on my wishlist by putting them on sale. I might have only put it on the list because I like the dev, or to help out their steam numbers, but come sale time I'll be like "I don't remember this at all but it's cheap so you know, sure why not"

To quote a friend: “Happy International Mens's Day. Men, Boys. You matter. Not beacuse of what you provide or what you earn or what you sacrifice. But just because you are alive and are human. You are loved and cherished and whether you believe it or see it”

We don’t use generative AI at Strange Scaffold and I can confirm that a *lot* of other studios are not—whether indie or AAA. Get outta here with this normalization bullshit.

Reaching out again with a mutual aid request, trying to make it through the next week. Anything helps, even just sharing this post when you see it. Thank you!

That said, it makes me miss the game though 😔
