As with Essendon and St Kilda already this yr, Collingwood can’t look at Sam Wright stepping away as a panacea for all of the issues in its program. He is one part of a broader failing that needs to be addressed. A new coach can’t fix systemic issues in the program alone. #AFLW

What’s even harder is seeing the impact on the players. Majority of Collingwood W players are under 25. This should be a dream come true for these young athletes. Yet all they get learn is how little their club values them.
