I'm proud to have secured over $14 million in Community Project Funds for MA-01. From North Adams to Oxford, these projects will strengthen infrastructure, expand educational opportunities, and improve quality of life for families and businesses across western and central Mass.

As families pay record-breaking prices at the pump, Trump’s own oil and gas investments are up 43% since last year. Trump cares more about topping off his wallet than your ability to fill up your gas tank.

I can’t think of a more desperate admission of failed trade policy than temporarily lowering tariffs on select products to favor a political ally days before an election. People need a permanent end to this price-hiking trade war, not temporary decisions designed to tilt an election.

The Trump administration has granted tariff exemptions on some Canadian products, says Sen. Susan Collins, who’s facing a tough re-election battle in Maine.

The election hasn’t even happened yet, and Trump is already trying to rig it if it doesn’t go in his party’s favor. States run their elections, not Trump. Any attempt by the Administration to bully its way into interfering with that process is an abuse of power and a threat to our democracy.

$5,500. That’s how much more the average household in MA-01 has had to spend since Trump took office. With inflation outpacing wage growth for the sixth month, how are workers and families expected to keep up in Trump's America?

A month ago, I warned that Trump couldn't be trusted with more authority. Now he’s proving it: abandoning our allies to cozy up to Putin – and at the cost of Ukrainian lives and American values.

In classrooms, kids should only have to worry about learning – never about hiding from a gunman. My heart breaks for the victims, their loved ones, and the entire community in Bend, Oregon. No family should ever have to endure this.

My thoughts are with @congressmanraja.bsky.social, his family, and Indian American and Hindu communities nationwide. I’m grateful to those who prevented a horrific tragedy. Everyone deserves to live and worship without fear. We must protect houses of worship in every community.

Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi@congressmanraja.bsky.social

My family and I were worshipping at our Hindu temple in Aurora on Sunday when a white supremacist attempted a mass shooting targeting Indian Americans. I'm grateful to those who prevented a tragedy, but we must all come together to confront the hatred that put so many innocent lives at risk.

The fact that we need to tell this administration that execution should never be used as entertainment speaks to a profound failure of moral judgment & basic human decency. Such a vile spectacle should never have been considered in the first place. It's beneath the dignity & values of this country.

With Trump doubling down on the very policies that are accelerating inflation, Social Security’s cost-of-living adjustment will only struggle to keep up. After a lifetime of hard work, seniors deserve better than watching their benefits lose ground because of Trump.

Just weeks after Congress gave Trump more tariff power under the guise of sanctions on Russia, he reminds us of just how little he can be trusted. Instead of ending his disastrous war that has sent your costs soaring, Trump is opening the door for the U.S. to bankroll Putin's war machine.

BREAKING: Trump temporarily lifted sanctions on Russian diesel and suggested the U.S. could be a buyer.

No matter how many times Trump tries to put his thumb on the scale, Fed independence isn't up for debate. By creating this committee, he is wasting resources and time on a debunked fishing expedition that should instead be spent making your life easier.

The Trump Administration’s attacks on health research are an affront to public health & are blatantly unlawful. Of the 150+ grants they illegally withheld, 16 were headed to Massachusetts. That was funding for expecting & new mothers, patients with chronic illnesses, & future medical researchers.

.@newyorkfed.org stated it plainly: “Every percentage point increase in average tariffs, consumer goods prices increase by about a quarter of a percent after one year.” The result of Trump’s policies are crystal clear: higher prices for workers and families across the board.

It’s staggering how rampant this level of corruption and pay-to-play scheming has become in the Trump administration. It comes from the top: Trump bends the rules for his taxes and now, for the right price, his wealthy donors get special treatment when it comes to theirs?

wsj.comExclusive | ‘Honey Please’: Kimberly Guilfoyle Pushed Donor to Wire $100,000 to Her Amex AccountText messages with a MAGA ally show Guilfoyle seeking funds and offering access to top administration officials before becoming ambassador to Greece.

Today’s jobs report shows why nearly three-quarters of Americans reject Trump’s economy: 🔴 Fewer opportunities 🔴 Higher prices 🔴 Paychecks that can’t keep up It's clear Republicans have no intention of stopping Trump & his friends from enriching themselves at your expense for as long as they can.

The contrast couldn’t be clearer: while Trump is using tax dollars to promote himself on TV, he’s taking more resources away from communities that need them. Congress approved this funding, and denying these funds from the American people is a blatant attack on Congress’s constitutional powers.

These taxpayer-funded ads do nothing to serve you. They only serve Trump. This is yet another example of how Trump is again ripping off the American people and elevating himself all on the taxpayers’ dime.

Trump’s Administration has repeatedly failed to keep your data safe. Now, this decision lets Trump use your SSA data for something it was never meant to do: verify voter eligibility. Your data should be protected, not misused as a tool in Trump’s voter suppression agenda.

Breaking news: The Trump administration can use a wide-ranging government database that includes Social Security information to help state officials identify noncitizens on their voter lists, the Supreme Court rules.

The American people have a right to know the truth about their government and members of the press have a right to report it. Trump just showed us the extreme lengths he will go to thwart that. That isn’t the hallmark of a courageous leader, it’s cowardice and un-American.

As if making coverage harder to access through skyrocketing premiums and more red tape wasn’t painful enough, Republicans are doubling down to take it away entirely. It’s clear that Trump is perfectly okay with that, as long as those at the top can keep cashing in.

Social Security Commissioner Bisignano told Congress he has “the right amount of staff.” Meanwhile, field offices are described as “ghost offices” & record-low morale has created the worst staffing crisis in SSA’s history. His failure to respond after 3 months leaves serious questions unanswered.

The Kennedy Center is a beacon of performing arts & a memorial to one of our greatest presidents. Demolishing it would be illegal & un-American. Imagine a president adding their name to the Washington Monument or Lincoln Memorial. Only weak leaders grift their names onto the legacies of great ones.

Trump's track record speaks for itself. The American people can't afford for Congress to hand more price-hiking tariff power to the most corrupt president in history.

House Democrats stand with Ukraine. But giving Trump even more tariff power while people are struggling to get by isn’t the answer. We need a bipartisan bill that holds Russia accountable without risking higher costs for the American people.

Today, as we commemorate the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, we remember the nearly 3,000 lives that were lost, and honor the brave men and women who answered the call not just that day, but in the days, months, and years that followed.

This morning, I joined the Westfield community and the families of four Westfield residents who were taken from us 25 years ago. Hearing their stories was a poignant reminder of how much time has passed and the many milestones their loved ones should have had the chance to witness.

It was also a reminder of how close they hold these individuals to their hearts, and how deeply the memory of their loved ones endures. We will never forget.

Trump promised you he’d cut costs on day 1. Nearly 600 days later, and you’re footing the bill for his costly war, thoughtless tariffs, and grandiose vanity projects. Workers and families in Massachusetts deserve better.

Trump is taking his war on child care one step further, making it even harder for parents to find child care while keeping their jobs. His latest move will strain resources, limit access to benefits for workers, and threaten the funding that providers rely on to keep their doors open.

Republicans decided to give up and go home after handing you the most expensive August at the gas pump and for diesel on record. The Trump Administration's message? Be grateful it isn’t worse. Republicans made this economy too difficult to get by in, never mind get ahead.

For Republicans, there’s never a problem giving those at the top every advantage money can buy. But when it comes to everyone else, they’ll go out of their way to kick the ladder out. Democrats won't stop fighting until these racist attacks are put to a stop once and for all.
