UK #SynthPop group #DepecheMode loved creating and using samples in their music. On their 1986 single “Stripped” they incorporate sounds from a washing machine, clock, bottle rocket, bicycle pump & Dave Gahan’s idling Porsche 911- it was often played as a closing song at Starck youtu.be/qU8UfYdKHvs

I hadn't really given The Avalanches' new album a proper listen because of its whopping 31 tracks. But once I did, it was a lot of fun, like listening to a music show on the radio while driving. And it was lovely to see Osment having so much fun in the music video!

Though not their closing chapter, Swedish #Pop group #ABBA’s 1981 THE VISITORS was their final album together. Many might wonder how the title track became such a beloved #StarckClub classic but that was part of the club’s mystique (#11onStarckTop50) #VinylSky #Vinyl #80sMusic youtu.be/MsAUQmD42HA
