I also just wanna say, URL shows are an amazing thing. As an artist, as a great way to meet fans and peers; as a fan, as a great way to see a slew of awesome sets in the company of others with comfort and ease. They're fantastic, great for cutting your teeth in a scene or seasonedly celebrating it.

Working an antisocial schedule has me missing out on a lot of IRL shows I'd otherwise like to attend, especially hanging out and enjoying a good show. I can't overstate how delighted I am to be able to be able to kick it on the net with some fantastic friends when meatspace proves impractical.

Fun fact! Once I'm happy enough with a WIP to render off a demo, one of the first things I do is upload it to the previews page on my site, where it gets updated with each major mix/master iteration. I've got tracks due for release soon there tho so you'll have to dig around my site for it :3

That said I'm also really overdue to share some behind-the-scenes stuff in general with my music. I spend an average of like 4h a day in my DAW, usually on long-tail mix/master tweaking hell. This hobby would probably feel a bit less lonely if I could infodump about it more often,,,

incredible development for sickos who use hacky nonsense to look Technological™ in a scuffed way (i'm sickos) seriously though the typography of VCR OSD Mono does drive me insane and this. fixes a lot of it??? nice to see a way wider selection of sorely missing glyphs too

things nobody tells you about making music: spending an hour cycling through a bunch of project files, making extremely repetitive edits, and staring at a rendering screen forever because you made one little tweak to your mastering chain and now you gotta propagate that across a whole album

Neon Apocalypse

we love it here. anyways this is my way of saying that work is finally wrapping up on the next album, which is very exciting, as I've spent over a year on it and it's the first one I've made that's Actually Good
