Bounty Hunter Ticali, Mana! I've not drawn Mana for a while. She was the prototype Ticali, from when I was designing the species. I should probably draw her more.

Ticali gender lore dump time! Ticali culture/language doesn't have a concept of gender, as the species can essentially swap sex at will, the role of gender as didn't really evolve for them. Male is male, female is female, as if you were male, you'd be male, if you were female, you'd be female.

Which may be something I'm misremembering, but if not then I guess I'm wondering about current-Jakri's hesitation towards altering his Ticali form. I assume there are expected ramifications for his human form that are getting in the way of adapting more "traditionally feminine" Ticali traits 2/2

There's a cultural analog of gender present though, as female Ticali are better, historically, at hunting and long term endurance, and male Ticali have better short term strength and speed, and individuals would take up the roles they needed to, physically. Modern Ticali don't really do that.

A modern Ticali is, generally, male or female based on what they want to be at that time. Most have a preference, and that is ESSENTIALLY their gender - but their language lacks any framework for the concept. Spaceborn Ticali have no trouble with the idea of gender, as influenced by other cultures.

Been playing Aion 2. The character I made last week had her bust slider set to ~80%. Yesterday I burnt one of my two character edit tokens just to tone it down to closer to 70, 65%. I couldn't deal with seeing the poor girl running.😂

I keep all my old art carefully categorised. There's pros and cons to this. Main pro is I can really easily get at basically any drawing I've ever made. Main con is that I can see exactly how much improvement, or lack thereof, I've made over any given time period 😂
