I hate to say it, but it might be time to really lean into the writer/author part of my branding. Start streaming more, make videos again. "Writer plays," "Writer tries," and, oh god forgive me, "Writer reacts" type stuff. And advertise my book(s) while I do it.

I have discovered that my wife has already been through her own ADHD-driven fountain pen hobby phase. She just gets me, y'all.

YouTube's algorithm might be a mess, but once in a while it'll do something like show me a video from a random fountain pen nerd and I'll be like, "Yes! I didn't even know I wanted to watch fountain pen content but fuck it, I'm in."
