In the files for Chapter 5 there are a bunch of unused sprites of Castle Town buildings decorated to be Christmas-themed. Which will most likely be used in Chapter 6, based on Chapter 5's ending.

If you managed to kill Yellow during his fight with Blue, the game used to crash. After a patch however, he now does the family guy death pose before Blue's healing cloud brings him back to full HP, with the cloud having a unique expression just for this outcome.

Chapter 5 got dumped! For some reason most of Chapter 1 Mac is also here?

The Switch 2 version of Deltarune recently got dumped (Chapters 1-4), and in it there is unused dialogue for switching controllers, and despite this appearing before Chapter 5, it seems to include the Netskies.

The room to the east of the Forest bake sale was originally supposed to have a second chest containing a Revive Mint. If you add a second chest in with hacking it will function, but only if its Y positioning value is greater than 500. #Deltarune #DeltaruneChapter1

Unlike all other sources of healing, Blue's Healing Rain spell has blue-colored text rather than green. And in his introductory cutscene when he casts Healing Rain on the party, the blue-colored text quickly fades to the standard green healing text. Which happens nowhere else.

Susie has unused dialogue in Chapter 1 for trying to equip the Wood Blade on her prior to fighting the Ralsei dummy. It would prompt the text "... You have a SWORD!?" but this text is inaccessible even with save editing due to a code typo.

i think it's fucked up how chapter 4 is the only deltarune chapter where it doesn't matter what version you speedrun it on. all the other chapters have some version specific bullshit you have to watch out for

I didn't qualify but I genuinely couldn't've asked for a better outcome for myself, I've come to find out I really don't like the battles in this chapter for speedrunning, so I'm probably not gonna touch it with a 10 foot pole any time soon. Congrats to the people who got in!

During the Shadowguy fight, if you boogie and then get hit and make Tenna talk about it, if you then attack with Kris or Susie but not Ralsei, he will stay there until your attack ends.

The humorously-named "shit" variable that was stored in the code object for the TP meter in battle had its name censored and renamed to "toylet" in Chapter 5. The variable still keeps its original name in Chapters 1-4 luckily. This may also be a reference to a quiz in Chapter 3.
