according to the timeline, he was supposed to have at minimum gotten a mastectomy in 1880, perhaps later in 1910 doing further gender affirming surgeries that does not line up with irl history which made me sad, but its okay its alternate history, trust

i had to research further into this since i had a shower thought as to whether or not he'd get a phalloplasty if he could also doesn't line up at all with irl history since the first gender affirming phalloplasty happened even later he historically couldn't get a custom built premium cock...

after a certain amount of time has passed (decades, even centuries) since a person's death occurred, most people often tend to stop treating them like a person that actually lived and had their own aspirations and reasons to do what they did this story kinda does a deep dive-

into that whole thing which i guess ends up making for a pretty bleak story i suppose, considering the fates of these ghosts trapped in the hotel

its also been my first story where i'm really trying to push my own limits of character writing lunar flame's first iteration was plagued by the fact i was too scared to make the main characters' actions dubious at best, while this game's whole thing is how-

the big ghosts are introduced in a very unflattering way, but the more you go out of your way to explore and find clues about them, the more you start to sympathize with them and understand why their unflattering actions were there in the first place
