I found this nice little project that tells you whether the UK or Australia's grid is green 🌍. Right now, the UK is 57% green and most is from solar (makes sense, we're being boiled by the sun) 👇 www.isthegridgreen.com

Been working on a little project using @atproto.com and I'm almost at the stage to onboard a few people to test it. I'll share more in the next few days as I finish a couple of features that are needed for launch. Interested? Let me know 👇 #BuildInPublic #ATProtocol #Atmosphere
🏕️ One of my favourite things about camping is looking up at the night sky. So I built Stargazing Score 🌌 Enter any UK postcode to see if tonight's conditions are good for stargazing. www.stargazingscore.com Feedback welcome ✨ #BuildInPublic

Happy New Year 🥳 It's been a while since I last posted here. I took a two-week trip to the Caribbean, then Christmas and New Year. I'm back now, focus in 2026 is use @bsky.app a lot more as my main social account 💪
Thanks for the invite @germnetwork.com. You can now DM safely! Who’s also using Germ? Let’s DM 💪
So, I failed this over the weekend. I was so motivated at the beginning, I then got to Saturday night and got burnt out. I also think there are more worthwhile platforms out there that have built incredibly engagement so adding another pre-launch tool doesn't make sense.
🚀WEEKEND CHALLENGE: I’m building Tease Launch LIVE. A tiny pre-launch platform for indie makers. Submit → Curated weekly drops → Metrics -> Promote Goal: MVP live by Monday morning. Follow along. Submit your tease. Break the noise. #buildinpublic #indiehacker
Well, that wasn’t most of my evening spent trying to get OAuth set up via @bsky.app and my little app. Wrapping up the evening with it fully working and ready to work on the stream of statuses tomorrow!
🚀 It's been a month since I posted I was starting a small project built on top of @atproto.com and @bsky.app. Well, after understanding a bit more about how things should work... I've purchased the domain, got a rough blueprint & about to code the OAuth flow! #buildinpublic
Happy Tuesday folks 👋 Today, I'm starting a little project trying out @atproto.com and building a small app. #buildinpublic #atproto
🚦What am I building exactly? Well, DownDetector, but better, built on @bsky.app. It's decentralised, lightweight and will be open-sourced.

Well, this is worrying. GitHub is essentially being moved into the AI era. I do not want my code to the stored, inspected and consumed by AI. Thankfully, there are alternatives like @tangled.sh but getting PaaS/IaaS providers to implement is going to be a journey.
GitHub is no longer independent at Microsoft after CEO resignation
Happy Saturday, folks! Up early and already a productive morning (after a cup of tea ☕️). I've shipped the landing page for @firecircle.co 🥳 It's simple, but that's all it needs for now. #buildinpublic
Does anyone know when @skylight.social will be available to download in the UK? feel like I am missing out!
12 days in running iOS26 public beta. In that time, I've been on holiday, played a tonne of Pokemon Go, recorded videos and more. Battery life isn't great (always is the case) but so far, not really found any bugs! Liquid glass is ok, not a game changer for me.
Installed! It's going to take some time to get used to Liquid Glass - changed the tint/clear several times, still not sure. I'm sure it'll grow on me, just have to accept change. Now installing iPadOS 26 and watchOS 26 (which is taking ages to download).

Let’s go! Probably the worst thing to do before going on holiday for a week but YOLO!
Today’s the day @bsky.app will ask UK users to verify age using KWS. I’ve just gone through the process, and was pleasantly surprised when I could choose using my face as identity or verifying with a credit card. I did the latter as don’t want my ID with Epic Games 🎉
Interesting... the UK's Competition & Markets Authority (CMA) is following in similar steps that EU made 2 years ago against Apple & Google. Could we see dedicated app stores from the likes of Epic Games?Decrease in in-app $$? www.gov.uk/government/n...
Loving the refinements to the UI, especially the dashboard! One of the first things I’ll do when I get home from holiday: update!
