My friend Prinn gave a great suggestion for finishing this! The paper curled pretty heavily so photographing it is hard. I'm happy with this for my first painting. I really love the hanging greenery and I'm glad I added it. Enjoy swamp thing having a soak

Every year, all of the safety tips we see are aimed at trick-or-treaters behaving more safely around cars, and none of them seem to focus on how drivers should behave. What if we changed that messaging just a little? #halloween #halloween🎃 #halloweenparty #halloween2025

Dealing with health issues while poor sucks. I'm not recovering at all and it's concerning. I was in the hospital for 2 days and I've been unable to work for over a week now. No money means no food which might help and I can't pick up my meds. 0/10 experience

I've just found the best hack. Swear in your search request. It's a great way to bypass the AI summary and make your search history look like you're chronically pissed off at everything!

Decided to play Devil May Cry 1. I am better at the game but that spider boss is still rough. I had it down to a sliver of health and then I got stuck on a pillar and died. The architecture is the real enemy in that fight. 3+ deaths to getting stuck or camera changes.

No idea if I want the Switch 2 yet, since I buy consoles based on games. However, it does still let me play in handheld mode which is my preference. Some thoughts: 1st, getting rid of the rail system for joycons is good since my OLED feels very fragile at the rails.

2nd, backwards compatibility is great! If you don't have a switch, you can buy one console and play a big library. You can keep your library as well. I do hope they do something about how saves work since right now it's very hard to keep your saves between consoles.

Decided to watch Dandadan. It's really, really good. The characters are charming and the animation is gorgeous. Episode 7 broke my heart. I felt so sorry for that yokai and her daughter. The kids all felt like real kids too, exactly how I expect kids that age to act.

Given that Link's Awakening got a remake, I'm really hoping Oracle of Ages/Seasons is next! I liked Awakening as a kid but I spent so much time playing the Oracle games. Being able to continue your quest and see different content was so mind-blowing to me.

My absolute favorite deck in Pokemon TCG Pocket right now is my lightning deck. Pikachu EX, Zapdos EX, Magneton, and Zebstrika have made the latest event super easy. EX cards are pretty OP anyway, but being able to pick off benched Pokemon and stack energy is a game changer.

A new tile pattern going into production, based on a woodcut from the hortus sanitatus (1490s). Really excited to see how this one comes out of the kiln #tile #handmade #clay #medieval #woodcut #craft #cottageindustry

I was trying to come up with a list of my top games and remembered Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons. That game is so good. So, so good. Controlling two characters is such a nice mechanic and I had a lot of fun. Excellent story but I can't ever play it again. That ending hurts too much. Go play it

On the subject of making up backstories for random enemies: Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water got my most developed. There a few ghosts in the game that are "amalgamations" of multiple souls to explain why they keep turning up with the same model. I deemed this one "Drowned Rat Man"

Drowned Rat Man didn't want to come to the damn mountain. But hey, a nice little hike at this cool resort seems like a great idea. He's about to start a new job, he isn't gonna see the sun for months. This place seems safe! If you've played the game, you know it wasn't.

He's dead now and he's pissed. His life was always shitty and the second it goes well he gets offed by a haunted fucking mountain. A damp mountain. He's so tired of being damp. So he begins his quest to burn down the whole mountain. That's why he's everywhere. He needs fuel and a match.

One of my favorite things to do in games is just pick an enemy/NPC and give them a whole personality and backstory. That isn't just a random annoying enemy mage, that's Steve. Steve is the first one the big bad will sacrifice. Please, Steve is so annoying, you're doing them a favor.

please enjoy this "vintage movie poster" I saw in a dream which was so funny to my subconscious that I immediately woke myself up to write it down for later

Question for #GamingSky: What games are already great and could do with a remaster (ex. Just needs QoL fixes like bugs, graphics, minor control) versus what games could do with a full remake? (Meaning take the game and make it again from the ground up with modern standards/file sizes/more dev time)
