This month, Tennessee is set to execute Tony Carruthers even though the state refuses to test DNA and fingerprint evidence that could prove his innocence. None of the physical evidence thus far matches Tony — Tennessee must not put him to death.

action.aclu.orgNo Wrongful Execution for Tony CarruthersTony Carruthers was convicted without physical evidence, based solely on testimony from informants. Now, Tony is scheduled for execution on May 21st by Tennessee after being forced to represent himself at trial. Join us in calling for fingerprint and DNA testing before a possibly innocent man is put to death.

This is the first Thanksgiving for Sophie & Colin Hortman without their parents, Minnesota state Rep. Melissa Hortman and Mark Hortman who were assassinated along with the family dog in an act of political murder. National guards troops were not deployed to the state in response.

You are up to date.
