I was very inspired by the gorgeous branding for ModRetro’s M64, as well as the former colors of the just-recently-closed forever X2 at Magic Mountain, formerly known as just X. That’s how I wish it stayed, honestly.

This will likely be my final foodpost online (save for rare circumstance.) On 1 October ive begun to take procedures to safeguard my own privacy, which i strongly feel is a fundamental human right. I’m also stepping away from big tech to support hardware that I can repair and upgrade myself. ✌️

Finally that time again. Also had some pasta last night. Felt good to be able to finally cook something in my own house. :) I know that sounds stupid considering how easy it is to make pasta but I’ve been paranoid to cook for what feels like forever. It’s a good start.

Actually @atari.com , does WB still own Klax after the acquisition of Midway? Or do you guys own it? Have you ever considered trying to get it back? Like what’s the sitch, because I would LOVE to play Klax on more modern systems.

Seeing Virtual Boy games in color feels like blasphemy. There are also alternate color profiles (original Game Boy, Game Boy Pocket, and Game Boy Color. These wont instantly give them brilliant colors, it will just display them as they would display a traditional Game Boy game. Just in 3D)

My Apple TV auto-deleted some of the data that allowed me to keep playing Real Racing 3 looooong after the game got shut down. Now it’s finally unplayable. RIP RR.

I dont know if ill get to see the limited rerelease in theaters but even if it is streaming, it’s nice to finally see this film in 4K. The jump from SDR to HDR is crazy.

Consider this your annual reminder that the Mario+Rabbids games exist and you should play them both. They’re great little XCOM-like strategy games with some decent challenge behind them. Even if you hate the Rabbids, these could be the two pieces of media to make you convert.

Just got the word I’ve been selected to partake in the Network Test for the upcoming Switch 2 exclusive “The Duskbloods”. It will be my first time playing a FromSoftware title and honestly I’m really excited! #theduskbloods #switch2

This is Performance Mode in Metroid Prime 4 on Switch 2 in handheld mode. I would easily expect this to have been graphics mode and run at 24 fps on the Switch 1 if it didn’t immediately combust. People dog on this game but coming from the Switch remaster of Prime 1… what a glow up.

I genuinely think this is one of the most graphically impressive games Nintendo has ever made. The textures, materials, and post processing are profoundly impactful in this game more than any game I’ve played yet from them. Kinda wanna buy this as a technical showcase alone.

The current Nintendo Switch 2 collection thus far. No Switch 2 games yet, only Switch 1 titles. Next things on my list are an Expansion Pack membership, the Camera, either the Pro Controller 2 or Charging Grip, and some of those NSO controllers (SNES, N64, GC primarily)

If you told me the image below was taken from a Nintendo console, I would say you had lost your mind. Now that I own one myself, I’m starting to think I may have lost mine. The Switch 2 has been a blast to jump back into. I can’t wait to be with it as it evolves.
