πŸ’― So true. It’s easy to get attached when you’re small β€” but scaling means making tough calls early. I always think of it like baseball: if you swing for a home run every time, you’re gonna strike out. But focus on solid contact β€” singles, doubles β€” and you’ll get on base way more often.

Transform every customer touchpoint into a growth opportunity! 🌟 Happy customers? Don't hesitate to ask for a glowing review and referral. Word of mouth is a powerful growth engine, and social proof helps build trust. πŸ” When a customer chooses to cancel, seize the opportunity to learn why.

Moms, we see you. πŸ’ͺ❀️ Despite society expecting equal contributions at work, moms still carry more at home β€” and pay a price for it. πŸ“Š Mothers spend nearly 2x more time on childcare and housework than fathers. As a Dad and employer, I am committed to doing my part starting at home and work.

Attn: Business Owner Remember it is so much easier to prevent churn than get new customers. Send personalized emails to all your customers starting with a highly profitable group. - Do you need anything from us now? - What can we do better? - Is there anything we can improve in the long term?

As a business owner or CEO Do you know your number #1 Metric? Are you tracking it? Every employee should know the number #1 Business Metric. Every department should have their own #1 metric.

The average American will believe the the only reason Ford & GM are not selling cars in Europe and India is because of tariffs / import duties. Propaganda New stories work and hide corruption and bad governance. Sad

Fox Business interviewed the owner of a Pennsylvania auto dealership who says of Trump's tariffs, "nobody is gonna buy the truck, because it just had $20,000 price increase ... this is pretty radical." The show then cut back to Maria Bartiromo, who threw a tantrum.

I have changed my opinion on the structure and purpose of 1:1. However as @joel.is mentioned the purpose of 1:1 s should be for coaching, feedback, and deeper personal connection.

I've been adjusting the way I lead at Buffer, moving away from primarily 1:1 interactions with my direct reports, towards striving for as much transparent and group-based collaboration in projects as possible. A few thoughts ⬇️

As a Dad of a 12 & 15 year old I totally agree with @mcuban.bsky.social The biggest challenge kids face today is addiction to πŸ“² If they can use their πŸ“² to read, learn and create they will be a winner.

When I talk to kids today and they ask me what I would do if I were 12 today, my answer is always the same, read books and learn how to use AI in every way shape and form you can. It is a living library that gives you responses and can help no matter who you are or where you live.

As a parent of teen and a pre-teen not the solution. Schools including Teachers and parents are competing against social media influence. We need to re-imagine school. Less classroom time more hands on work training.

πŸ’― Prioritize > Focus

Jason Cohen@asmartbear.com

Almost everything at a startup is a disaster or completely missing. It's tempting to attack all your inadequacies at once, but that leads to burnout, not excellence. Focus on your 'Important Thing' instead.
