It's Day 2 of NICON26, and our final day at the La Mon Hotel, Belfast. If you missed us yesterday, this is your chance to find out more about the Social Care Council's work and our Learning Zone platform, or just come and share your thoughts on social work and social care in Northern Ireland.

Our Director Declan McAllister took part in "Embracing AI - Balancing Ambition with Caution," a head-to-head debate exploring one of the biggest questions facing health and social care: are the risks of not adopting AI greater than the risks of embracing it? Catch the debate at #NICON26.

Another session we're keeping an eye on at #NICON26 is ‘Together for Families – Good Intentions Are Not Good Enough!’ Together for Families is a landmark £60 million programme, jointly funded by the Public Sector Transformation Fund and the National Lottery Community Fund.

Day 1 of # NICON26 is under way at the La Mon Hotel, Belfast. Find us on the exhibition floor (stand 13) today, where Alison Shaw, our Workforce Development Officer, to talk through how we support the social care workforce, including registration, learning and development, and the Learning Zone.

Are you heading to #NICON26 this year? We're looking forward to exhibiting at this keystone health and social care event. You'll find our stand on the exhibition floor throughout both days, with members of our team on hand to talk about the Social Care Council's work. Come visit us and say hello.

Today marks 25 years of the Social Care Council. From a small voluntary register in 2001 to almost 50,000 registrants today, our growth reflects the scale and importance of #SocialWork and #SocialCare across Northern Ireland. #SCC25Years
