I think one underdiscussed reason that people are gravitating towards these games is because they ask so little of your life *going forward*, too. Most of them don’t have XP, or battle passes. For almost any larger multiplayer effort that’s coming out these days, who could claim the same?

Getting "Mario Karted" sucks and is far more common in World, but the mistake I keep seeing people make is when they get hit by that first red or blue shell in a top position, they keep trying to hold the optimal driving lines with no items or speed like bro the fog is coming, MOVE.

Apparently, using the built-in YouTube editor on live streams (which I used to remove the 5~ minutes of "starting soon" screen) completely removes the Live Chat Replay and doesn't let you turn it back on. :/

Finally have my room set up for streaming. Going to start streaming on Tuesdays and Fridays/Saturdays (depending on when I work) at the same time as Niko (9PM CST) on YT. Might change things up for Saturdays eventually, but I want to try doing this on a semi-consistent schedule for a while.

Street Fighter 6 has by far the best training mode in any fighting game I've played. There are so many features I wish could be ripped out and put into every other fighting game.

I really like that Capcom seems to be trying to break the homogenization of Super Meter usage away from just saving level 3 for Final round.

I never new much about Virtua Fighter games before, but learning that they only have 2 attack buttons is kinda baffling.

I want to try streaming consistently for a while sometime this year (hopefully next week). Planning for Tuesdays and Fridays (if I don't work) at 9pm CST.
