I truly believe this, naive it may be.

You know, someone at Anthropic has the chance to do something really amazing by telling Mythos to find and release the unredacted Epstein files, erase medical debt, student loans, and really anything else that might help society out, then just turn it loose.

At least I'm not the only person on the planet who understands this. Be nice if everyone else would realize it.

I still can't believe our armed forces have just rolled over and let these criminal jackasses have the run of the place. That they're just sitting there while leaders that have earned their ranks and positions are removed left and right to make room for cronies and sycophants. I'd be embarrassed.

I wish it was possible to speak to someone who could honestly answer my questions. I wish someone could reassure me that it's not as bad as I fear. Are there any people with power who care about using it to help, instead of holding onto it at all costs?

It's a shame we don't actually require elected officials to answer to their constituents and voters. If we could have no-confidence or return votes when needed it would probably have helped some of this by now.

I think one of the largest contributing factors to the current state of the world, is that 99% of politicians, truly give zero fucks about the people that vote for them. We're just ignorant plebs to them, and without changing that, nothing will change.

We're doomed as long as we keep insisting on letting the worst of us be in charge. I wouldn't let most elected officials watch my dog for a weekend, but we trust these people with our lives and well being.

'Centrism' is as much to blame for our current predicament as conservatism. Our entire government is so far to the right compared to most other democratic nations is insane. If we can't embrace true progressive ideas to build a better future, we'll be condemned to rot and be a footnote of history.

If the events of the last decade haven't proven we need to rethink our entire system of government, I really don't know if there's much hope for us. Why do we insist on clinging to outdated, harmful, and stupid? Just because that's how it's always been?

I find it odd how few people seem to recognize the parallels between abusive partnerships and authoritarian regimes. Isolation, gaslighting, victim blaming, forced codependency, various forms of other abuse, it's all there, it's just between groups instead of individuals.

I'm tired everyone. I thought I would try something to avoid weeks of uncertainty to talk to someone, and apparently that was stupid. Didn't mean to frighten anyone, but I guess that's just the times we live in. Nothing but fear.

Been stupidly depressed for the last few weeks. Trying to claw my way out of it now, at least.
