NEW: Remedy's latest game, Control Resonant, is filled with art galleries. The galleries are filled with real art When I began talking to Remedy about it, I was delighted to discover who the artists are: many are the game developers' parents My story... www.gamefile.news/p/control-re...

gamefile.newsWho made the art inside Control Resonant? When the developers of Control Resonant needed to fill their video game version of New York City with art galleries, they tapped the talents of people they knew particularly well

So Microsoft and Epic are suddenly saying that AI is theft? Is that because they were going so hard on it and suddenly realized that AI agents skip on ads and upsales? So fixated on using it to cut the workforce, not realizing that it was cutting their entire business model.

Man I just want to lock into the streets of New York and be a GAMER. ALAS, work is making me wish I had a billion little helpers to handle all these plates I am spinning right now. HOLY

Book 3 is coming along, but work is going crazy right now and I have a lot of travel coming up. I am hoping to get a few more chapters done and over to my editor before all that. Appreciate all the fanmail I have been getting??? I thank you for reading!

I think my problem with the new Polyphia album is that while it has some bangers on it; none of the songs inspire me to pick my guitar up and learn the riff or section of song. Then I listen to ego death, and immediately want to play along with them.

This is actually hype and I think I will take a moment this weekend to set that up for my books and writing I have been doing!

I also want to take a moment to thank all of my readers, your support and words of encouragement are amazing, and I was able to take my wife out on our anniversary and cover the entire evening with sales from my books. I truly did not expect to see anything like that, so again, thank you.

So, working on book 3, and I am excited to wrap up the story I have been telling. The current plan is to release it as a stand alone, and then do a hard cover edition that combines all 3 with additional art and fun stuff for the series.

The follow up to this is that in between some deadlock matches, I will be cranking out more document and data ingestion work for le company. Whew

I operate as 5 dev's in a trenchcoat at any given time and my days are so packed with work.... But I am the only one who can do. AHHHhhhhhHHhHHhHHhHHHhH

Had some great games on Deadlock tonight! Just finished the first chapter of book 3 earlier. Plus to top it off; Feeling so lucky to be married to my amazing wife. Bonus puppy tax

Are there any writing challenges that happen in October? Can I start something called like spooky shorts? Idk but I want to do something that isn’t the big November challenge for writing.

Any writers that follow me on here that want to do a a draft swap for some short stories? I have a few in draft state (horror, dark academia, comedy, and some romance) and would love to do a swap and get some feedback on if the ideas are 'sound' or have some weight to them. #booksky

Gotta say, super thankful for everyone supporting my writing and books. That said, I am working on some new stories for the website, and also looking at publishing some other works. Plus in the spirit of what I have done in the past for gamedev, I want to write up some stuff on publishing books.

Currently lost to playing Valhiem, but I do have a few short stories I am editing to send out to those who are on the mailing list, along with updates for book 3. I am also working on a few other projects that I can't wait to show off!

Looking forward (not) to nuking bazzite off my streaming PC and swapping over to cachy. Like holy fuck linux, all I wanted to do was relax and play Valhiem but noooooooo gotta be linux and just randomly stop working for no damn reason.

Okay done with all the zergs for now but omg there is so much *biomass* Super excited to paint all this

I have 6 more raptors to assemble from all the extra StarCraft TMG minis and then, I can start the diorama! Super excited to start it this weekend, for the Zerg I am going with volcanic themes which I think will contrast wonderfully with the purples

A few readers have reached out and asked, yes book 3 is plotted and I am going to start working on that this month. I will also open up for alpha/beta readers. Thank you again for the amazing support? For my writing? I uh…. Idk it doesn’t feel real? So thank you, and thanks to booksky as well.

Alright Book 2 updates! First thank you all for the crazy support. Like it is kinda crazy to me that you all enjoy the stories I am telling and my writing. I will deal with the imposter syndrome later. Importantly, I have fixed the amazon/KDP stuff so it should be good!

Appreciate everyone support of the second book launch! I mentioned this in a few other places but, if you pick it up let me know! I am trying to make sure I have a list of folks to thank in the special edition when all three are out!

Absolutely not me forgetting I had to do like two other things for Amazon so people can do the kindle thing and all that. How come writing the book is not the hardest part of the process lmao

like 4 days out from my next book, and instead of marketing it and talking about it, I am stuck in engineering hell that is all the project work that I have on my plate. internal screaming is real.

I can thank folks enough that supported me by purchasing my first book “Containment”, and by reaching out to me with thoughts after reading that it directly relates to the sequel being realized. “Recursion” has been great to write, and hope it is received the same way. 📚💙

A few days out from book 2 being released and I have seen an uptick of people picking up book 1. Thank you for the support! I’m excited for everyone to read “Recursion”! I have also reached out to a few local places to set up a table and am working on logistics for that.

Stathem (spelling) movies are awesome and just good down right entertainment. My dream is that one day the man gets access to the die hard franchise because he would do wonders.
