Sony is ending the production of physical game discs for new games as of Jan 2028. It is an incredibly anti-consumer and disappointing choice for Playstation owners. With this, the PS6 will certainly be a digital only console when it releases...sad times. blog.playstation.com/2026/07/01/p...

I bought a day 1, digital only PS5 and in hindsight, was a bad purchase decision simply because I don't own the games I purchase; I have a license that allows me to access the game. Physical media and true ownership is paramount in the current landscape of subscriptions and stream-only access.

Just rolled credits on Pokopia after nearly 60 hours 🥹 I absolutely love this game and had such an incredibly fun playthrough! Can't wait to play more!

About to play through #Anthem for the first time before servers are shut down in January '26. From what I remember, post-launch support was abysmal but the game itself was decent. Time to find out! 😅 🎮

Theory: NVIDIA partners with game studios --> NVIDIA pushes frame gen and fake frames --> devs abandon any sort of proper optimization in order to promote "high FPS gaming with frame generation" Sucks that gamers are just fucked instead of AAA studios optimizing games for all hardware, new and old.

Managed to mod my PSP 1000 with an upgraded screen! Was I unbelievably nervous? Yes lmao But I managed to do it first try. I sorely underestimated how tiny the pads were that needed to be bridged 😅😅 Took me 30 mins to understand how to solder Some pre vs post pics in next post!

In Pokemon Crystal, ghosting is nearly gone, and it is SO colorful and bright. In Gran Turismo, the ghosting was atrocious and is now infinitely better 😁 Also more vibrant!

Cyberpunk at 1440p, Xess Ultra Quality, RT on Psycho (no path tracing), nearly all maxed settings (SSRO Medium). Locked 55 FPS. Using Lossless Scaling software at x3 Frame Generation, I had a perfect 165 FPS, 18ms input latency. ...on a 7900 XT (non-RTX card). This software is incredible!

Expanding on this though, the username actually came from a high school friend. We used to play an online shooter called War Rock together, and one day, as I was picking off some players, he said "all you do is snipe noobs". Thus, the NoobSniper moniker was formed!
