Have you ever had a friend who refuses to leave an abusive relationship no matter how many bruises they get? No matter how many times you offer help, they never fix the situation. "If you ever pack your bags, you can stay with me. Until then I don't want to hear it" America, I'm done hearing it.

Again, we warned them. Tens of millions of people in the country, hundreds of millions of people around the world, warned them. Thousands of times. They mocked us and voted for the storm. Now their house is flooded. Who do they crawl to for help? Those they mocked and ignored.

I Remember, Hope you do….

Facebook did a massive study in 2016 looking at their 1.6 billion active users. They found that the average degree of separation between any two people on Earth (who are on FB) is 3.57 degrees. That means you are, on average, 4 people away from anyone else on the planet who has internet access.

So, if you want a better world, try the pay-it-forward method: Pick 5 people and show them radical kindness. 2 people in your state or city, 2 people in your country, and 1 person in another country. Every human on earth has a story. A dream, a fear, a pain, a pleasure. Don't forget that.

And here's the hard part: The 5 people you pick don't have to be 'deserving.' They don't have to be kind back. They don't have to change. Radical kindness isn't a transaction. It's a gift you give to the world, not to them. If they reject it, that's okay. You still lit the match.

You're 4–5 degrees from anyone on Earth. That means your kindness is 4–5 hops from a person who desperately needs it. But here's the dark mirror: Your cruelty is also 4–5 hops from anyone on Earth.

Every time you mock someone, dismiss someone, or ignore someone's pain, you are contributing to the global reservoir of suffering. Every time you show mercy, you are contributing to the global reservoir of healing.

More and more countries ditch Microsoft as the movement of digital sovereignty keeps growing🎉🇪🇺 The idea of digital sovereignty is to become independent from US Big Tech providers. Only together we can achieve digital sovereignty💪🇪🇺 Find out more here 👉 tuta.com/blog/countri...

If the government refuses to do what they are paid to do, the citizens that are taxed without representation will do the job themselves. Remind me what it's called when a person or organization refuses to do what it's paid to do? Republicans are the government waste, fraud and abuse.

City Harvest NYC made a video thanking Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce for their $1 million donation, which will help feed 2.4 million New Yorkers!

Why does humanity so often destroy beauty yet admire it with art and wallpapers? It is possible to have the things you enjoy, if you just stop destroying it. See how beautiful the water and land are?

Yet an armed mob that builds gallows and calls for the assassination of the vice president, they get a pardon and a million dollars and praise from the president. Can someone please explain republican logic?

THIS IS WHAT IS CALLED FOR UNDER FASCISM — BRAVERY Before the attacks & the hot takes start, a few facts: Major Jason Watson is a graduate of the US Air Force Academy, a career logistics officer, a NATO officer, and a decorated veteran who volunteered for a 365-day tour in Afghanistan… 🧵

1/3rd of the country will hear this, say "well, there's nothing we can do" and go back to eating donuts and watching South Park. And they wonder why nothing changes. There are plenty of things they can do besides voting, since they believe that's rigged. But they don't wanna hear that because "hard"

Friends, they’re not even trying to hide their voter suppression. ⬇️

They did this for 21 days. What have you done, America?

For 21 days, Albanians have filled the streets - not only over a luxury resort project linked to Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump, but against a 35-year-old political caste that has controlled the country, its institutions, and its future.

For anyone who visits the US whether for tourism or the world cup, let me be very clear. You do not hang out at a person's house unless you're okay with what's happening at that house. What's happening in the US? Protecting pedophiles, wars, ICE, racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, and more.

All these wallpapers and screen savers: space, forests, waterfalls, flower fields, mountain ranges. People find these beautiful. No humans in these things. Humanity agrees. Humans are ugly. Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia, pedophilia. Violence, ego, apathy. That is humanity.

I hopped versions (distro-hopping), starting with Mint (famous for beginner-friendly). I wanted more customizability so after a month I tried Ubuntu. Then I learned about Kubuntu, an offshoot of Ubuntu. After 3 months, there was nothing in my home that had a Microsoft product on it.

Was it difficult? Ehh, for about a day or 2. What did I lose? An animated aquarium screensaver and and a specific programming software (I found multiple free alternatives that are ironically better than the one I was using). That's it. Will I ever go back? Absolutely not. Linux for life now.

14 months ago I got tired of MS forcing updates that bricked my system. The last time, I lost nearly 6 months of work, mainly programming that I couldn't recover. The Windows re-installer was corrupted. I was also tired of it hogging RAM and CPU. So I made the switch slowly on a spare laptop.

"ICE gets training" Really? Do they get training on how to hold a gun? Because this agent released a magazine. Accident or deliberate, take all the time you need
