Investigating elected officials for speech is not law enforcement but intimidation. If governors and mayors can be investigated for criticizing federal actions, neither elected officials nor anyone else is truly free to speak. #holdfast
Rep. Robert Garcia: "This is an administration that is so inherently corrupt. And they have turned our federal law enforcement agencies against our own people. That's what should be very concerning to everyone ... Kristi Noem should be removed from office."
According to DHS, about 3,000 ICE and federal agents are operating in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area. THREE THOUSAND! The entire Minneapolis Police Department only has about 580 officers. This is outrageous and unnecessary.
Our tax dollars are funding this abuse, so itโs happening in our name.
We already have complete access to Greenland, including unfettered freedom of navigation into the Arctic.
We have a military base. We have early warning radar systems in place that will integrate with the โdome.โ
And we have allies to help defend it. We donโt need Greenland.
Rep. Angie Craig: "We were told because this facility is being funding by the 'Big Beautiful Bill,' not the congressional appropriations act, that we would not be allowed to enter the facility. That's complete nonsense ... I informed them they were violating the law. They said they didn't care."
Amy Klobuchar: "There are now more ICE agents in Minnesota than there are police officers combined in Minneapolis and St. Paul. So they are outnumbering our own local police officers out on the streets."
He didn't shoot her in the head at point blank range because he felt like he was in danger. He shot her in the head at point blank range because he was furious that she wasn't afraid of him. He shot her in the head at point blank range because he felt emasculated.
Looks like ICE is now cracking down on โฆ Native Americans.
This letter was just posted by the chairman of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe in North/South Dakota:
โOur Nation is a sovereign government and our members are not immigrants. We are not subject to immigration enforcement on our own lands.โ
Hayes: The president was asked should they be sharing evidenceโhis response was no, because Minnesota's corrupt.
Ellison: I will point out no president that I've ever heard of received a $400 million plane from a foreign country trying to curry favor with him, crypto deals, golf courses.
We evacuated our kids out of Minneapolis this weekend and my spouse reports that as she drove them out of town she saw "multiple freeway exits where people are being pulled over." It feels like the Twin Cities is being subjugated by a hostile occupying force.
Never forget:
DOJ failed us.
SCOTUS failed us.
Mitch McConnell failed us.
Senate Republicans failed us.
The mainstream media failed us.
The Manhattan DA's office failed us.
Everyone said Trump was DONE after January 6.
But NO ONE did their jobs to make that happen.
"Iron laws of the world"? Some of America's most important national accomplishments are about leading humanity away from this kind of bullshit.
If we let ideologues like Stephen Miller drag us back into a world where brute force is all that matters, all of us will be less safe.
If Republicans REALLY cared about fraud, theyโd start with the billions being funneled to donors, billionaires, and Trumpโs businessesโinstead of using hearings to distract us while they rip healthcare from working families.
BREAKING: Oversight Committee Ranking Member Robert Garcia just secured subpoenas for Les Wexner, billionaire businessman and a long-time benefactor of Jeffrey Epstein, and Darren Indyke and Richard Kahn, the executors of the Epstein estate
โICE claims in its own mission statement the whole point of the organization is to โensure the safety of the public and our communities.โ In what world does this ensure public safety? I canโt see how a community could possibly be protected by the same people who are actively coming to kill them.โ
In 2025 the US averaged 49k new jobs a month compared to 168k in 2024.
To be clear these numbers were posted by the BLS today after Trump recently fired their statistics chief, claiming without evidence that the โjobs numbers were RIGGED in order to make the Republicans, and ME, look badโ.
When America abdicates its role as a defender of freedom and becomes the oppressor, it emboldens dictators everywhere.
We are about to learn some hard lessons.
One being how instrumental we used to be at preventing the world from descending into madness.
He'll start a war to:
1. Distract from the Epstein Files
2. Steal oil
3. Justify emergency powers
4. Justify use of the AEA for deportation/internment
5. Help the drug lord he just pardoned
That one person can drag us into a war without consulting or even notifying Congress, or our allies, or fully explaining to the American people why this is necessary, is absolutely bonkers.
Reminder that Congress has the power to stop all of this. Where the hell are they?
Happening now: several hundred people are pouring into Chicago's downtown Federal Plaza.
It's 25 degrees outside.
Organizers are leading the crowd in a chant of, "no boots on the ground, no bombs in the air!"
Two protesters hold a large banner reading, "no war for Venezuela oil."
Moulton: "When we had briefings on Venezuela, we asked, 'Are you going to invade the country?' We were told no. 'Do you plan to put troops on the ground?' We were told no. 'Do you intend regime change in VZ?' We were told no. So in a sense, we have been briefed, we've just been completely lied to"
When I teach my seminar on coups we keep a running tab on how many regime changes were motivated at least in part by desire for oil or other valuable commodities...
Itโs not about drugs. If it was, Trump wouldnโt have pardoned one of the largest narco traffickers in the world last month.
Itโs about oil and regime change.
And they need a trial now to pretend that it isnโt. Especially to distract from his sinking under Epstein and skyrocketing healthcare costs.
It's an old and obvious pattern. An unpopular president - failing on the economy and losing his grip on power at home - decides to launch a war for regime change abroad.
The American people donโt want to โrunโ a foreign country while our leaders fail to improve life in this one.
Maduro's not a good guy, agreed. But neither is Putin, and Trump rolled out the red fucking carpet for him. It's not about dope, it's about oil (which kinda IS dope).
Just when you think Trump has hit the gutter, he bounces lower.
A Maine woman retired early to be a caregiver for her terminally ill mother.
Now sheโs facing cancer herself, and because ACA subsidies wonโt be extended, she is losing her healthcare.
Her costs are going up for $49,000 a year.
This isnโt healthcare, itโs eugenics.
Medicare for all.
"If the U.S. military operation is not an armed conflict of any kind, these orders to kill helpless civilians clinging to the wreckage of a vessel our military destroyed would subject everyone from SECDEF down to the individual who pulled the trigger to prosecution under U.S. law for murder."
Here are US military lawyers stating clearly that Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth's "kill everybody" orders are either (1) war crimes or (2) murder.
Either way, expect prosecutions in the future.
