I meant £10,000s … can easily hit £60,000 in total. Apprenticeships are harder to get than uni places - kids understand they are a way better deal even if the adults don’t yet get it.

£10,000? If only. Debts are much higher than that. Advice to potential students- get on a degree apprenticeship. Your company pays you and pays for the degree. You do lose the social life of university but won’t have a debt that hangs around you for years.
