Another day, another Liberal Party politician (who's even a has-been) advocating for illiberal ideas. What a surprise. 😱🙄 www.news24.com.au/politics/aus...
At this point age verification isn't even a de facto KYC requirement for social media. It's the exact same thing. reclaimthenet.org/eleventh-cir...
Good thing that the live streaming of the execution has been called off. Why were even some of us as civilised people okay with watching it to begin with? This vile Stone Age spectacle should never have been an idea in a modern day society.
BREAKING: President Trump says the Pentagon won't livestream the firing squad execution of the Fort Hood shooter after bipartisan backlash.

So how many of you actually sent an email to the eSafety Youth Council about saying no to age verification for video games like I did ?
Two days left to **respectfully** email the Youth Council members who are aged 13 to 24 at youth@esafety.gov.au to ask them to raise the issue of the Age-Restricted Material Codes in their meeting with the eSafety Commissioner.

The eSafety Youth Council has an upcoming meeting on 14 October 2026, where its members can raise issues and concerns directly to Julie Inman Grant herself. Use this email youth@esafety.gov.au to ask the Youth Council to lobby her to scrap the Age-Restricted Material Codes.
We all have our strong views on Voter ID with one camp calling it "election integrity" and another camp calling it "voter suppression" and then there are people in between. Can we all come together and recognize internet ID checkpoints as forced self-doxxing? www.telegraph.co.uk/politics/202...

Is President Trump building a Digital ID infrastructure that could serve as a future pathway to CBDCs, social credit systems, 15-minute cities and digital surveillance all powered & enforced by more sophisticated Flock cameras? The current US CBDC ban is only temporary btw.

I've finally finished my first playthrough of Wolverine PS5 and I've enjoyed every moment of it. My only major criticism is that the game should have been longer and featured more X-Men characters. This game deserves to win the 2026 Game of the Year award in my opinion.
I'm about to play Wolverine on PS5. I'll avoid talking about the game until I finish it.
Literally the only reason they want an under-16s social media ban is to deanonymize the internet by attaching all online accounts to a real identity, monitor their online activities and eliminate small community websites from the internet for big tech. The UK government is evil.
🚨 NEW: The Government will introduce “hard checks” to enforce its under-16s social media ban, such as passport and credit checks
Yearly sports games get more grifter & grifter year by year.
NBA 2K25 is being delisted later this month, with servers shutting down at the end of the year. All online modes (including the single-player story mode, which is tied to online currency) will no longer be playable. www.videogameschronicle.com/news/nba-2k2...
I accidentally discovered what I believe is a collision related bug while playing Marvel's Wolverine. Thankfully, I managed to replicate this bug as shown in this video recorded on my PS5 so it makes it much easier for @insomniac.games to fix the bug.

It is unfortunate that One Nation falls short of opposing the proposed "Digital Duty of Care" in its entirety. This bill cannot be fixed and cannot be made better. A minister arbitrarily determines harm while you warn you about protecting free speech.😂 www.onenation.org.au/labor-social...
Even the taxman doesn't want to take credit cards anymore from grown ups, and meanwhile Steam wants to force gamers to use a credit card just to be allowed to buy or even view an 18+ game. Huge L to Steam lMAO www.ato.gov.au/media-centre...
This is good news, but don't get too comfortable yet. It only took one US senator to stop a fast track. KOSA will come up again as a standard vote, so we must stay vigilant. Almost all of the senators support KOSA so call them & make it a midterm issue. SACK THEM ALL!!!
After Senator Blumenthal sought unanimous consent for KOSA, engaging in brutally transparent hand-waving of free speech issues, Senator Rand Paul stands up to object, and unanimous consent fails.
This is intentional and not an unintended consequence, btw. No one wants this except for the big gaming publishers, the very companies the proponents of the EU KIDS Act claim to hold accountable.
All hands on deck! Ross explains how the EU Kids Act could end #StopKillingGames by collapsing the EU gaming market! youtu.be/mQRcK9nYg9g "The best thing you can do is spread the word...The people who write this crap do not like it when the public at large knows what they're trying to do to you"
Just a reminder that the Liberals continue to show their true illiberal colors by not having the spine to oppose the Digital Duty of Care bill in its complete form. The bill is only designed to subvert our freedoms. The Liberal Party needs to go extinct www.liberal.org.au/2026/09/10/c...

Gotta laugh at @profholden.bsky.social complaining about tax increases when at the same time he wants to take away YOUR cash by making Australia a cashless society to stop tax evasion. Massive double standard. Tell him he's dreaming. CASH IS KING & CASH WILL PREVAIL in Australia forever.
Can't believe I missed this one, but I just discovered that Sony had to be on them Nintendo moves by sending a cease & desist letter for The Last of Us Part II multiplayer mod. That was the only reason why I would buy TLOU 2 on PC after already owning it on PS4 and PS5.
The developer planned to release the project this month
I would only wear a mask in this day and age when I am near a Flock camera. Plus, eliminating all Flock cameras in America and stopping them from spreading to other countries is far more realistic than eliminating COVID globally.
Stop calling people who wear masks and take Covid precautions the “forever covid” crowd. We’re literally the only ones trying to eliminate the virus. It’s not gone. It’s not over. It’s still disabling. People who deny this reality are the “forever COVID” crowd.
Is Albo going to blame AI for every government data breach now? It’s an easy scapegoat since it’s a non-sentient being. This is while they are happy to invite these AI companies, including OpenAI to build data centers in our country and refuse to actually investigate them.
#BREAKING 🚨 Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has revealed an OpenAI agent breached a Medicare portal, accessing public and non-public files He says it occurred in June this year, but OpenAI did not inform the government until two weeks ago
I really hope that AI bubble bursts.

What you wanted: A new Need for Speed game or better yet a new Burnout game. What you got: A below-milquetoast racing game based on toys larping as a real racer that nobody asked for. IGN gave this game a 7 while Wolverine got a 6 shame on them.
With unmemorable tracks and maps that completely lack the sense of scale we get in the life-sized, real-world environments of the Unleashed games, Hot Wheels Infinite Rush has sadly shed a ton of the series' special charm.
I've always wondered why Bruce Straley has never spoken publicly on the record about The Last of Us Part II post-launch, the only new game Naughty Dog has released since he left. Did he find it boring? For me, it was one of the best games I've ever played.
