Just here to keep up on Ukraine and talented comics who don’t punch down. When Twitter became “X” it went to crap.

He said “Fuck ‘em!”, promised prosecutions for election interference, and mobilized his party voters. He wasn’t trying to keep corporate donors happy with centralist bullshit. He focused on what voters of the party wanted, not commands from PACs.

Pay attention to the fact that Lula beat the fascist candidate by NOT compromising and NOT trying to meet fascist voters in some fantasy “middle ground”.

Where the fuck in democratic leadership? How the fuck do @schumer.senate.gov and @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social wake up every morning and think, ”Today I really need to talk about working across the aisle” when this is going on? Fuck anyone who talks about working with these fascist.

Ukraine's sanctions commissioner Vladyslav Vlasiuk mocked the first Russian diesel shipment to the US, saying its 40,000-ton cargo equals under two hours of US demand. He noted the US itself exports far more diesel than the tanker will deliver. #Ukraine

Fuck David Brooks. You don’t get to “both sides” everything nazi wannabe endeavor and try to normalize republican fascism while you think it benefits you AND THEN say maybe it’s gone too far. Fuck David Brooks and anybody who points to his bullshit for anything other than ridicule.

Breaking: President Zelenskyy: Precisely at this moment, when we are talking about peace, America is giving Russia the opportunity to export diesel. This is... I don't know. I believe our team is simply being used as a cover. And this is definitely unfair. This is definitely un-partner-like.

What is needed is real de-escalation with Russia on a reciprocal basis. We count on America’s fair support for our defense of life, for our defense of people in Ukraine – and on the United States having a correspondingly strong conversation with Russia. A strong one, not a weak one.

Gifts to Putin will not bring peace or any benefit to the civilized world. Russia will “repay” the diesel with further terror and perfidy. Allowing Russia to sell petroleum products is an investment in a war that must be ended, not prolonged.

Ukraine will not set Russian oil refineries on fire if Russia does not destroy our energy infrastructure. This is the kind of agreement we are proposing to America, and we believe the United States has enough power to achieve such a compromise.

Ukraine is ready to take symmetrical de-escalatory steps, and the American team knows our position. Our strikes on Russian oil refineries and other oil facilities are a response to Russia’s years-long campaign of terror against Ukraine’s energy sector.

Any easing of sanctions against Russia without a clear and lasting de-escalation agreement with Russia is an obvious weakness. It plays into Russia’s hands – allowing it to kill more, wage war for longer, have even less respect for America, and inflict even greater losses and damage on the world.

This year, Russia is weaker on the battlefield than at any other point in the war. That is why Putin is relying on terror. That is why he is relying on attempts to strike backroom deals to secure some form of pressure relief for Russia, in order to buy more time and more opportunities for war.

In Dnipro, Kharkiv, Odesa, and our other cities. Dozens of people have been killed and hundreds wounded. The Russians are compensating for their inability to achieve their objectives on the battlefield with this kind of terror.

This past week alone, there was a brutal Russian missile strike on a residential building in Pryluky, aerial bombs were dropped on Kramatorsk – on ordinary city buses – and there have been constant attacks on Kyiv’s energy infrastructure and on the life-sustaining infrastructure...

And today, there was a conversation between the leaders of America and Russia. A conversation that leads to something different. Recently, there was a European decision to lift sanctions on Russian oligarchs. Since then, Russian strikes and the torment of people have only increased.

They asked: what is needed to end the war? The answer must be strong. There must be sanctions under the Lindsey Graham bill, there must be support for Ukraine in protecting lives, and there must be pressure on Russia for its war.

Breaking: Ukrainian President Zelenskyy responds to Trump diesel deal with Putin: Peace never comes through weakness. Today, representatives of the U.S. Congress were in Kyiv – a bipartisan delegation – and I am grateful to them for visiting Ukraine at such a difficult time.

I’m done hearing about how effective they are, while seeing them accomplish nothing and actively working across the aisle to advance the fascist plans

Schumer has spent all his time advancing the interests of his donors and doing everything he can to hamstring actual progressive legislation. Every fundraising email I’ve gotten has been returned with “ not a dollar until Schumer and Jefferies are gone”.

Ossoff is simply telling the truth. It’s not complicated. He’s calling fascists out for being fascist without the usual level of caveats that democratic leadership insists upon. Schumer has to be shitting his pants from hearing a democrat, actually standing up for the people of the country.

CNN has become such a joke. Striving for Fox-lite just made them less reliable. The whole "People are asking..." shtick is such bullshit when the only questions they repeat are conservative talking points.

The news media is complicit in this slow roll authoritarian takeover of the country. They have traded their souls for access to fame and money. They sold out and simply can’t go back to being the independent check on government they once were.

Pritzker: So here’s the truth, plain and simple: Our state is under siege. Not by protesters, immigrants, the deep state, the press, Canada or Mexico or Greenland, Antifa or Jewish space lasers or pride parades. No. Our state's under siege by a petty, corrupt man in Washington.

Michael Gottlieb looked in the mirror and said to himself “I’m the good guy for working with Laura Loomer because she wants what I want”. That’s a new level of bullsh;t right there.
