The companion paper in Stata journal (@statacorp.bsky.social) covers the methods and estimation logic and remains the primary reference. The docs site is the practical complement — searchable, navigable, structured for when you're in the middle of an analysis and need to look something up.

In a new research @oxfordcsae.bsky.social podcast, we talk with @ophioxford.bsky.social colleagues about a recently proposed projection framework for #MultidimensionalPoverty indices. How to measure progress towards development goals? Are targets feasible? www.csae.ox.ac.uk/on-track-or-... 1/3
Empirical analysis features 70+ countries. We also discuss implications for other non-monetary indicators: accurate projections require proper account of upper and lower bounds of outcome variables. Sometimes overlooked. Paper: www.sciencedirect.com/science/arti... 2/3
We also touch upon related paper, where we combine projections and simulation-techniques to analyze covid & related policy responses. Permits us to account for time lapsed since last data collection. Common issue many countries. Paper: www.sciencedirect.com/science/arti... 3/3
Recently, our paper documenting data for the global multidimensional #poverty index went online! Estimates draw on 211 survey datasets (84 countries, 814 regions, up to 4 points of time). @ophioxford.bsky.social @ubeconomics.bsky.social @ourworldindata.org #econsky www.nature.com/articles/s41...
