I think we've reached the point where anyone who wants to run a competitive business needs to be using AI. It's no longer a choice when it's already able to exceed human experts and is making groundbreaking discoveries in multiple sciences.

Each time there's a major advancement in technology such as the industrial revolution, some people get angry and upset. Does that mean the advancement is bad and we shouldn't do it?

Cyberpunk netrunners except instead of doing any complicated hacking they just exploit known vulns on outdated systems

I think what I love about Remedy games is how they aren't afraid to get very experimental and crazy with ideas.. on paper some of the stuff they do should not work at all, but they somehow manage to pull it off consistently

Sometimes in Control Resonant it's hard to tell apart actual graphical glitches from just being the style of the game.. like is that shadow meant to be flickering or are my settings wrong?

Got an emergency alert on my phone from the government telling me to not light a fire.. okay but why does it need a loud siren as if someone has launched ballistic missiles at us

Constantine (2005) is a religious action movie about angels and demons; starring Keanu Reeves. It's pretty fun and definitely worth a watch.

Something that's a bit sad about art is that even if the general consensus is that X thing is the best ever, if it doesn't make its creators any money then it's pretty much a failure.

Man, id Tech is such a good engine, it would be a shame if the next Doom has to be made in Unreal or something because id's last engine programmer got fired.

They are prioritising Doom, Quake and Wolfenstein with a gutted id Software! It makes total sense!

Bethesda will be refocused with the Xbox changes today, and will prioritize its key franchises 🎮 • ‘The Elder Scrolls’ • ‘Fallout’ • ‘Doom’ • ‘Quake’ • ‘Wolfenstein’ (via business)

I think the boomer shooter game genre is having a kind of revival. There are some awesome modern ones like Dusk and Ultrakill that feel like a breath of fresh air compared to the sameness of all the RPG's and open world games.

Has anyone else noticed a lot of weird stuff happening lately, like really weird coincidences or changes? I bet those CERN people accidentally opened a rift in the universe or something

Like recently someone I know cracked open three eggs in a row and they all had two yolks... this kind of stuff isn't supposed to happen

I know we're not supposed to question science, but the theory of morphic resonance is really interesting... The idea that somehow everything is connected

Pharmaceutical corporations are unnecessary because you can fix anything with naturally occurring molecules imo, and metabolic health is the most important thing to focus on

It's crazy that a lot of our neurotransmitters are in the gut and that gut health can have a significant impact on mental health
