I think this award should have a stipulation that a player who has won the award shouldn't be allowed to win it again. Not because they aren't great but because it would help highlight other equally good players. Vicky is great but I think Clara Serrajordi & Felicia Schroder were the clear shouts.

BREAKING: Barcelona's Vicky Lopez wins Women's Young Talent of the Year.🏆

Marc Cucurella vs Barcelona | La Liga 2026-27 Insane defensive shift from Cucurella tonight. Stuck close to Yamal, read the lines brilliantly, was excellent in 1v1, cleared the danger and was composed on the ball. Absolutely top performance!

Aurelien Tchouameni vs Barcelona | La Liga 2026-27 Defensive monsterclass from Tchouameni tonight. Put in an absolute clinic as the screener, positionally sound, read the play beautifully and excellent in defensive 1v1 and in his tackling. Was at his absolute best today!

Jule Brand vs Marseille & PSG | French Premiere Ligue 26-27 Playing Brand regularly as a fullback has been one of the best decisions to watch this season. Her defensive skills are evident, great recovery speed & offers a lot more when allowed to run into space. A solid two way threat from fullback

Melvine Malard vs Crystal Palace | WSL 26-27 Malard made the difference in the end, getting into good areas & combining with short exchanges in & around the box 8 shots, 6 from inside the box, 1.78 xG Will not score all chances but her movements are crucial in creating those high value chances

Zion Suzuki vs Man City | Premier League 2026-27 Good shot stoppers are extremely valuable and Suzuki is so much more than just that.

Spurs are a young team tbf

🚨New for @espn.com Arsenal are in troubled waters & out of the title picture. The problems are evident. 1) Predictable attack, underperformance in front of goal 2) Poor selection & lineup composition The answer might be there on the bench. www.espn.in/football/sto...

espn.inArsenal are enduring a dismal WSL campaign. Here's how to fix itAfter six WSL games, Arsenal have a single win; they've scored a paltry five goals and they find themselves in eighth place. Here's how to fix that.

I know it probably doesn't hold as much value in terms of results & scoreline but USA U17 Women's team had 9 outfield starters contribute to a goal against Samoa at the FIFA U17 WWC today. Maddie DiMaria with 6 goals and an assist, lol.

Make that three wins in three for Como and this is a big one against Juventus. Como might not have dominated territory but won big on transitions.

Real Sociedad 2-1 Barcelona | Liga F 2026-27 Real Sociedad did what they had to do. A back five, defended deep, found excellent passes & finished their chances. Yes Barcelona rotated their most in form attacker today but it's mad that the Basque side have done it twice in their last 3 meetings.

Since the start of last season Barcelona has lost just two games across all competitions and both have been against Real Sociedad. Real Sociedad have beaten them twice in their last three encounters.

Real Sociedad scoring two goals against Barcelona in a half; the same amount that Madrid have done across their last 7 meetings combined

Real Madrid style of play comparison | 26-27 vs 25-26 After a massive turnover this summer, Madrid's new approach has shown some distinct elements compared to last season under Quesada •More direct attacks, lower pass per sequence, deeper line & less intense press •Still bad at set-piece defending

Arsenal's attack has poor shot selection problem in terms of the zones they shoot from and the technique of (most) of their shot takers. One of the reasons for their underperformance.

The average age of Barcelona's starting lineup today was 22.9, geez. They started with two players born after Jan 2010, with a 2011 born forward leading the line and also scoring the opener. GEEZ LOUISE

Melchie Dumornay vs Servette | #UWCL 2026-27 Didn't watch the game but Lyon continue to absolutely demolish every team so far this season & Dumornay is a joke of a footballer lol Can play across the front line or in midfield, all sorts of finish in her repertoire & massive defensively

Lowiese Seynhaeve vs AS Roma | #UWCL 2026-27 Well she is back to haunt Roma again after last season. Although Roma didn't do nearly enough to test her considerably.

Linda Dallmann vs Man City | #UWCL 26-27 Dallmann was contributing in every phase for Bayern Munich tonight. She would drop into the middle to create options for short exchanges, dragging players and vacating space for Gwinn to push up and worked really hard off the ball.

Carlotta Wamser vs Bayern Munich | #UWCL 2026-27 There are two aspects of her performance today. One where she scored a well taken equalizing goal and the other was how her right footedness basically stunted City's ball progression down the left. I think other teams will pick up on as well

Bayern's vertical speed after turnover is excellent, attacking in numbers, quick combination in the middle with Dallmann coming centrally as well. Feel like City are restricted in terms of their ball progression from left because of Wamser's right foot inclination, Bayern aware of this.

🚨New for @espn.com The UEFA Women's Champions League is around the corner and it's always a great time to shine light on a team's X-factor player. A player who can provide that spark for their team. 18 teams 18 X-factor players www.espn.in/football/sto...

OL Lyonnes let the opponent score one before dunking 7 or more goals on them this season lol. Also Brand as a wingback/fullback could be a fun development if Giraldez needs a ball carrier and strong in duel type of fullback!

Chelsea pass network vs Manchester United | WSL 26-27 Just so easy for Chelsea to play around whatever United were trying to do without the ball Easy options on the right flank, simple exchanges with Walsh inside & Chelsea were in behind on the right side where they created their chances from.

United's first line of pressure is so easy to play around. A narrow two of Terland - Bah/Ziggioti with Toone in behind them with no cutting of angles The RB is easily accessible, if United's LB pushes up that makes playing in behind so simple by using a supporting midfielder. Poor from United

West Ham 2-1 London City Lionesses Recovery Map | WSL 2026-27 London City Lionesses look to overload their left hand side and West Ham marked their midifelders and forced many turnovers in the halfspace zone on the right hand side. One of this resulted in a goal as well.

West Ham United 2-1 London City Lionesses | WSL 26-27 West Ham smartly used LCL biggest strength against them by marking their midfielders closely & hitting the channels for Asseyi & Gago with long balls after a turnover. Very disciplined performance from Zelem & Kumagai with some help from Piubel

We have jersey number 11, 22, 33, 44, 77 and 88 on the pitch in London City Lionesses vs West Ham Need a lineup of 11 multiples sometimes😋

Annabelle Chukwu at FIFA U20 Women's World Cup 2026 Three goals so far along with some excellent ball carrying actions, great at 1-v-1 situations and some brilliant movements around the backline. Her movements are top class, which is what separates her from her age peers.

Georgia Stanway vs Brighton & Hove Albion | WSL 2026-27 Stanway was everywhere. Consistently dictating where the ball should go, demanding the ball, circulating it, aiding other players to move higher up. She will be so crucial to the system.
