Was so lovely to catch up with so many people at world fantasy con, even if each encounter was all too fleeting. I missed many others as the currents pulled everyone this way and that but I hope you all had fun. Hopefully I'll catch you next time.

I just gave my main character a moment of bliss before rivers of effluent hits the fan. I have done this in all my novels so far. They might not be real, but they are people (in this case) damn it, and they deserve to be happy! Just for a bit though...
