I once seduced a lesbian by telling her about the Cover 2 defense in football and why I thought that the slot receiver was the most important offensive weapon in the NFL. I'm flexing... I'm flexing now.

My strategy of buying craft beers entirely because the name is cool or funny is... not some of my best work. Taxi Saint is bad. Pigeon Pizza Party, eh. Will I ever learn my lesson? No.

I swear that after I'm done writing this dark trans horror novel I'm gonna write something where the dolls all have a nice day instead. Trans joy in fiction is so important, but unfortunately that's not where my ideas are at right now. Who can say why

I'm tired of being told not to hate Republicans. Am I only meant to fear them? Fuck that. That's what they want. They don't want love, understanding, and togetherness from me or my friends. They either want us to cower in fear or to cease to exist. They have earned my loathing.

Hi. I, a trans woman, am the Executive Producer of this show. I wrote the question. He called trans girls men. He has now said it in three different places in the past week.

Go see Wildwood. Seriously, don’t waitβ€”go see Wildwood. What a piece of art. The love for the manual craft, for story that doesn’t hold back, for filmmaking that is not here to answer to stockholders, it weaves all through it. Incredible stuff.

Politics hits different when you're an "issue" instead of a citizen

I'm still wowed by Wildwood. It's so damn good. And dang it earns that PG-13 rating with its dark, sad tale and epic war violence. It's like, what if somebody made a film inspired by Portland weird, Akira Kurosawa epics, and the Root boardgame. Fucking fantastic.

Nathan Fielder is one of the most interesting documentarians working today, revealing unexpected truths about his subjects while also being unafraid to question himself and his own motives on-screen. He's also extremely funny. I liked You Can See Everything very much.

Dude starts his ad saying nobody should face discrimination, then immediately pivots to discrimination against trans people. What a fuck.

Josh Turek of Iowa, Democrat, comes out with one of the worst anti-trans ads yet. Not only is it an anti-sports ad, it proposes a ban on federal funding for gender affirming care. That would hit all medicaid and medicare patients, and any ACA federally-subsidized plans as well. Horrific.

I promise I am not trying to be hyperbolic and this is my genuine reaction having just got out: That is the best film of 2026, the single most technically beautiful and artistically inspiring film I've ever seen, and one of the best fantasy stories in any medium. My god, what an achievement

Hey Somerville... Guess what?Β  WE BOUGHT THE BUILDING. The Somerville Theatre now belongs to the people who run it. Buying it was our leap of faith. Supporting it is where you come in. Find how you can help: somervilletheatre.com/future

Trump now saying that some Democrats want to make *all* school children trans. And his audience boos and eats it up and presumably believes it all. And I... I don't know that commentary I want to add here. I'm just so tired, angry, and scared all the time.

Trans people are fucking rare and trans kids are rarer still. We are not talking over. We are not grown in school labs. These kids deserve love, compassion, and understanding, not this fear mongering bullshit that's constantly on display. I'm so sick of it. I'm just so fucking sick of it.
