Just to point out to those critical of US behaviour re 🇺🇦… PM of Finland has categorically said that 🇫🇮 will not send soldiers to Ukraine. This goes counter to almost 70 years of 🇫🇮 Peacekeeping heritage. It is also bad alliance politics. We could easily send 1-2 battalions. 1/y

That half of Finns do not trust the United States should be taken as a massive diplomatic failure by the US - wilful squandering of reputation. Interesting to see if it impacts what is done w Defence Cooperation Agreement. Likely not, as current gov’t is loathe to criticise Trump (Admin).
