Banner day off! Museum of Broadcast Communications-currently hosting a late night tv exhibition. This was followed by a visit to Chicago Botanic Gardens. Got list looking for the corpse flower. Then stumbled across it and subsequently found the exit.

I went to my first therapy session today. Came thisclose to cancelling, but I’m actually glad I went. Plus, I scheduled another session. This isn’t earth shattering for most, but it is HUGE for me. #mentalhealthmatters

What level of concern should there be about my well being if I’m currently contemplating getting a perm? It’s the second time for this thought in six months. I’ve dealt with a lot of changes this year. Some good, some not so good. Maybe this is a trauma response. Or coping mechanism.🤦🏼‍♀️

Wouldn't it be nice if in addition to the "trump tariff" call out on Amazon, they offered a search feature of "Made in the USA" so that way we can bypass the tariff all together? It'll never happen, but it would be nice.

Since October I've been getting #vaccinated for EVERYTHING. Flu, covid booster, shingles, hep b, hep a, tdap, pneumonia, MMR. Today I'm getting jabbed for polio, TBE, typhoid and yellow fever. Next up cholera, meningitis, mpox/smallpox, rabies. Is my tin foil hat on too tight? Fuck you #RFKJr

Anyone have helpful advice for stopping a "doom spiral"? I've been spiraling out since late Sunday with no signs of stopping despite slamming on the brakes repeatedly and it not helping.

I was told RFK Jr. is a good choice for health secretary. Apparently I was too quick with facial expression of disgust, then opened my mouth. After I said what I said, I was told I should probably listen better and consider that I might be wrong. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills right now.

It’s funny because it’s true. On the plus side, I’m halfway between Chicago AND Milwaukee. Say what you will about either one but I truly enjoy visiting both.

I’ve really been struggling since last Wednesday. With each new cabinet appointment I die a little more on the inside. No idea how I’m going to make it through the next 4 years. People keep saying “just don’t watch the news.” I wish it was that easy. But it’s not.
