The adventures of a petrol head and his trusty companion, Frank the Focus. 70s & 80s music, classic cars, obscure music, retro stuff...much much more. Analogue guy in a digital world. Boro fan for my sins.

Reporting back...not great. Interior immaculate, engine bulletproof but needs 2 new front wings and 2 rear quarters. Factor in paint, labour etc and it's just not worth it. Rust is killing it sadly, and from the inside out too. It's a lovely thing but they wanted £1200, not sure it's worth £500.

Hello! It doesn’t cost anything to repost but it helps me spread the word about my small business. My online shop is full of bold & colourful prints, homewares and cards. I’m also available for freelance design work and art licensing. gailmyerscough.co.uk

Wandered down to pop something into Frank's boot and found a dent and push in on the rear tailgate. It wasn't there before so someone has hit it and driven away. Not happy 🤬 It will likely be the same entitled fuckwits who can't seem to park properly when picking up their kids again. #weirdcarbs

Well, after the Volvo fiasco where the seller said come and see then didn't bother to tell me he flogged it (wasted 30 mile round trip) and the A6 which was a bag of spanners, I might have found an addition to double the fleet to two 😂😂. Off to have a shuftie today so cross your fingers for me!

Finally back in Newcastle and what an amazing weekend! #Rustival was amazing, great to drive down, convoy over and spend time with such lovely people. Quick check on Frank then to Whitby. This morning back up to Newcastle. 600 miles and he STILL has fuel left. Impressive Frank!

Note to self. When going to car meets, Make sure you catch up with everyone and not get aide tracked! Oh, and take more pictures as I always forget then have to rely on my crew to pick up the slack!! You know who you all are. As you were. I'm out for a walk in Whitby. Breakfast time

Well, he made it and didn't miss a beat. Traffic was horrible, but we eventually got to Marston farm Hotel. No free parking either...£5.40 for the privilege of 10 hrs. Still, it's warm, cosy and look out for me and Frank at the services tomorrow. If you see us, come and say hello. Be nice to see you

With #Rustival on Saturday, can we try the roll call again, along with the cars being brought, mainly so I know who to look out for lol. I know people on here but often miss em at events. I know Rory and his mint 306, so who else? I'll be there with Frank . Car and drivers please! #weirdcarbs

1. I wouldn't normally drift into political chat as plenty of others do that elsewhere. I look around and see different stories, some true, some false, all pointing towards ignorance of lessons we should have learned from 87 years ago. Wherever you look there's intolerance, bigotry, gaslighting...

4. I hope we don't make the same mistakes as we did all those years ago, but I fear it's coming. They all share the same traits. Using fear as a weapon, ignorance of morals and what's right, entitlement to do things without punishment and no one stops them. Political chat done..thanks for reading.

3. It's genuinely soul destroying to me to see so much hostility around the world. Countries land grabbing, leaders who really should be in jail, elected by people who got washed away on misplaced promises and patriotism, made to fear those who often aren't the problem and electing those who are.

2. racism still rife. Certain governments firing out narratives and false truths to either alarm, frighten or hope to make people do things they normally wouldn't. Bribery, threats, false promises, cleansing, wiping out whole people's...have we learned nothing at all?
