Weird pervert. My boobs are flat and my illness is mental. Disabled. Aging past 12 was my biggest mistake (I'm an adult). Surprisingly not a fetish account. Ethically opposed to DNIs (they don't work anyway)

There are some topics I refuse to post about because it would be the social equivalent of bashing open a nest of live wasps in a restaurant bathroom during lunch hour.

Losing the fight on base 2 byte measurements is probably one of the worst things to happen in the realm of standards of measurement in my lifetime. I really don't like the whole binary prefix thing. Calling something a kibibyte when a kilobyte has been 1024 bytes for decades just bothers me.

Base 10 is cool for a lot of things, I like base 10 a lot. It's convenient for the meatworld where things are touchable and the numbers are arbitrary. Binary computing had a reason to not be measured in base 10, though.

Under this new system, a terabyte is a whole 10% smaller than a tebibyte, which is really damn significant and quite frankly annoying, because there was this period in time where storage was still being sold by binary exponentials at the same time as it was being sold in base 10 units.

"But what does an unofficial/informal month dedicated to chastity fetish have to do with an alpha test of a video game being developed by Valve Software?" It's simple. Gamers get restless when they haven't masturbated in a while and they start posting more.

You know it has just occurred to me that Ivy of Deadlock fame sounds strikingly like SynthV Teto English, and I wonder if you could tweak Teto to actually do a passable impression of her.

I remember sititng through people arguing about "clopping" when I was younger, and I'm not sure anyone ever made a compelling argument that convinced younger me that porn of cartoon horses was evil, but they sure did acquaint me with a lot of insults for people they didn't like.

I really feel like you shouldn't be calling young people "minors" unless it is specifically within a legal context where their limited rights and government-mandated dependent status are relevant. Calling kids "minors" all the time is a bit of a red flag to me, in all honesty.

Fuck the law. Some of the worst atrocities in history have happened fully within the bounds of the law. Some laws explicitly and effectively prescribe suffering and abuse en masse. Laws do not dictate what is correct. Legalism is an awful system of ethics to live by.

Solidarity with children requires listening to them—really listening. Pushing them out of spaces or refusing to speak to them outside of settings you dictate as acceptable places for them to exist is not solidarity. You must abandon the comfort of adultist control.

When's the last time you thought about textures, temperatures, tastes, smells, or sounds when describing an image with alt text? When's the last time you considered what information might be relevant to someone who's never had sight?

Ok hear me out: what if we get rid of the character limit, and add a setting to the client that lets you filter out posts beyond a certain character length, so if you only want to see <300 character posts, you can, but everyone can still post really long if they want.

At some point people are going to get tired of me doing the bit where I post "Autism." and then remember I've posted it before and then repost every time I've posted it all at once, right?

In spite of what video games, movies, and apocalypse fiction novels would have you believe, "antirads" aren't really a real medication. No drug can protect you from ionizing radiation, and the best we can do is treat symptoms after exposure, and prevent incorporation of radioactive material.

Potassium iodide, a common drug referred to as an antirad, merely floods the thyroid gland with nonradioactive iodine, preventing any radioactive analogues from accumulating in the organ and causing continued damage. It only protects one organ, and only from a certain kind of radiation hazard.

Basically, every video game protagonist who gets blasted with radiation and throws back a few pills about it is still pretty fucked in both the short- and long-term, were things realistic.

I've seen people argue that those who care about and push for youth liberation "don't care about the elderly", a claim that attempts to undermine the idea that we intend to combat ageism by suggesting we only care about the young, implying ulterior motives for our interest in youths' rights.

In regards to specific issues that impact the elderly, I find it more effective to begin from an approach of disability rights and ableism, as many age-related diseases are disabling, and the mistreatment old people suffer stems from these biases, prejudices, and persecutions.

You may not hear people speak specifically about the elderly when you hear them speaking in favor of the disabled, but implicitly, they are included, quite significantly. In this way, much of the fight against anti-elder ageism is indirect and unspoken.

The elderly have a quiet simmer of support and advocacy that has stemmed across the decades, where youth have remained unspoken for throughout much of history. I can understand why people consider the elderly less of a pressing matter than the wellbeing of the young.

Additionally—and I understand this seems like stating the obvious—children grow up to be old one day, too, assuming they don't die early on in life. Our childhoods shape our whole future, and a person with a positive, healthy youth will in turn be a healthy elder. It's a sensible set of priorities.

There exists a certain amount of normalized and mainstream effort to care for and advocate for the elderly, and they are legally full people, particularities around ableism and the rights of the disabled nonwithstsanding. Gerontology and geroscience are active fields.

In contrast, youth liberation is especially controversial, in direct conflict with the status quo, and concerns a group of the population that is legally endowed with fewer rights, universally, by enforcement of an age of minority. Ultimately everyone picks their priorities, and youth are in crisis.

It's certainly not the first time I've seen people attempt to slander the whole movement as being a cover scheme for some sort of pedophilic child abuse cult, and it likely won't be the last. Regardless, I'd like to bring up a few points as to why you might see less discussion about elder ageism.

I must preface: I care about the elderly, especially queer elders (and I really mean elders, not just people in their 30's). However, the old are in a less precarious position in regards to rights and safety than children, both because many have connections and support, but also they are not minors.

The people who say things like "It's 2026, you have to live your life" about taking precautions to not get chronic illness, disability, or die of disease make me very unhappy. Some people don't just get to "move on" or "go back to normal". Have you ever met an immunocompromised person?

Nobody ever reads your old posts, so it's kind of like unexploded ordnance to have controversial takes from years ago that most of your followers haven't seen. Someday someone's going to find them and get their legs blown off, metaphorically.

Never forget: at least 40% of people who like you would stab you to death without a second thought for saying how you feel about certain things.

Where did the MMO convention of calling your different characters "toons" come from? Is this a WoW thing that I never experienced because I never played WoW?

I wonder if alcohol wasn't the most common social drug if intox fetish stuff would feature other things way more. What if LSD was incredibly ubiquitous and it was like *the* drug?

The great thing about vocalsynth characters is that basically everything you make them say/sing is canon in the minds of listeners so Teto is pretty much all but officially a depressed trans girl with bipolar disorder.

You can also send me XMR to help me afford other things in life. The cool thing about cryptocurrencies is that they're not real money, so the government doesn't get to impose a savings cap on my Monero wallet under threat of revocation of my welfare benefits.
