More than half of the world’s population is not covered by essential health services. No one should be excluded. Your access to safe, quality health care is your right. Human rights protect our dignity, autonomy and well-being, and bring us closer to #HealthForAll.

Today is a day to keep the wallets and the payment apps closed. Remind those in power who really holds the purse strings. Today is a day to stay home from work. Remind those in power who really controls labor.

#MayDay is a reminder for workers to stand together. If you’re going to a May Day event, you can download this graphic and use it as a sign.

Republicans continue to fail the American people over and over. Their budget bill will not lower Americans’ costs. Instead, they’re CHOOSING to give $70 billion to an out-of-control ICE that puts Americans in danger.

I’ve lost count of the number of things this so-called-president or his cronies have done that would get any other person in any elected or hired role impeached or fired. It’s a least 3 a day at this point. What the hell Congress?!

It’s heartbreaking that while new atrocities are perpetrated in Iran and other surrounding countries, and US politicians attempt to justify war based on bad behavior of other leaders, this atrocity is still openly supported by the US. www.aljazeera.com/news/2026/3/...

On par for Trump admin ableism (among other isms.) For them, Paralympics don’t count.

Fighting intensified in the Middle East during the Olympic truce, in effect through March 15. Flights are being disrupted as athletes and families converge on Italy for the Winter Paralympics.

Why this obsession with expansion? Can’t a small business just stay small, do what it does well, and share increased revenues with its employees- or drop prices to better support its customers in hard times?

I’m not an economist, but it seems like inflation also might save some a small money if you have a fixed rate loan, or if you are renting under a long term contract… since the amount you pay has less value? Curious what those in the know think…

I voted in the Texas Amendment election here in Bastrop. Some stuff you might want to vote against there if you are pro checks-and-balances and against corporate greed and racism. If you want a cheat sheet, here is mine, being as progressive as I could with the knowledge I had. #Texas #Elections

What strikes me about your summary is “big sugar” “big tobacco.” Are we returning to the age of mercantilism with all its nasty accoutrements…

May I turn your attention to exhibit (US)”A”? You will see what happens if you give this kind of rhetoric even a smidgen of legitimacy.

No. You say you were whatever you like but you are racists.

I wish I could still be shocked and surprised by the level of hypocrisy and selective “logic” that this nation’s admin in power and all its state-level cronies employ.

I am just going to keep posting that the TX governor recently pardoned a political murderer. The dude texted "I'm going to shoot protestors", then went and shot a Black Lives Matter protester. He was convicted in a jury trial. Hard to find a more blatant example of celebrating political violence.

Not religious myself, but still nice to see a Christian that doesn’t require air quotes around their given faith.

We should all be as brave as Hilton Hotel Workers. Across the board, from teachers to healthcare workers to hospitality, we are long overdue for activism.

Because racism before humanitarianism before bipartisanism. Welcome to Texas, even the corruption’s bigger here. Also, this open corruption/racism seems viscerally worse than the usual hidden stuff. I have my ideas, but what are your thoughts on why that is?

I love that Brazil is all like, “Yeah, no” to Trump. But what’s up with this “defying” BS? Since when does the Trumpyre have the right to exert power over other nation’s justice systems? Let’s try language like: “the Brazilian courts held firm in the face of Trump’s unwarranted demands.” Do better!

And yet again they have enabled the continued destruction. Even if not “final” it allows a dismantling that will be hard to fix once we get these awful, heartless people out of office.

So, I know more than 10 have died in ICE custody (that they admit to), and now this. Just like in COVID times, we need a ICE tally scoreboard, front page of every newspaper. Detention numbers, deportation numbers, third country deportation numbers and death numbers. Every day. Ever person.

Look at the: a Forbes headline using Trump level vocab! Good job Forbes! You might want to change that word “thriving” though. Perhaps “bigly” would be more understandable?
