#np Premiata Forneria Marconi - "Emotional Tattoo" Quite a late entry in the PFM catalogue (2017) but a fine album for all that. Playing the English/Italian discs.

Looking at the scope of section 15 in all sorts of applications over the last week or so, I cannot believe that this was the intention of Parliament, it’s the result of extremely poor drafting and too little review and scrutiny. It’s absolutely ridiculous the burden it places on people.

It’s come to something when a photographer has to get legal advice, before displaying this photo in an exhibition, due to the risk of being prosecuted as a terrorist, but that’s exactly what I had to do yesterday. What a state this country is in.

A woman weeps over the genocide in Gaza as she waits to be arrested as a terrorist for holding up a piece of cardboard. Parliament Square today.

BBT'thon reaches 13 with a much reduced line-up, this can be regarded as their 'lockdown' album, particularly reflected in the lyrics to the opener "The Strangest Times" #np Big Big Train - "Common Ground"

After a break, back to the BBT'thon and studio album number 12. Both a return to form and a change of direction, in that this is not built around British countryside/industry but rather a European look based around the ideals of the grand tour. #np Big Big Train - "Grand Tour"

#np Yes - "Keystudio" Only regarded, & released, as a 'compilation' this is (imho) one of the best studio albums the band never made. A classic sound & line-up, with excellent short & long form tracks. Happily I understand that Cherry Red will release a vinyl version of this in January.

Not normally a big Pet Shop Boys fan, but I was intrigued by the concept of their latest release. It's pretty good, in a not quite ambient manner. #np "A Man From the Future"

Been playing this a fair bit over the last week. It's a little different from previous albums but has really grown on me. I recommend a listen 😎👍 #np Held By Trees - "The Call Of Home"

This 9 albums thing seems to be taking off, so here are 9 albums which always appear in any top 20 that I put together. A list as I'm having issues posting pictures. Revolver Abraxas Close To The Edge Hot Rats In The Court Of The Crimson King Five Leaves Left Quintessence St Radigunds Stand Up

The BBT'thon reaches studio album 11. 2017 and the third album in 2 years, which IMHO is begining to show in the mix of re-worked older tracks amongst the new. Not a bad album but weak by comparison with it's predecessors.

Sad to hear that the final chapter of the Enid is about to be written as they close the Endii, stop live performance and set to release one last studio album. I for one will miss the band, although their back catalogue is rather magnificent.

A return to the BBT'thon with their 8th studio album. A stable line-up and a continued theme make this another exceptional album. #np Big Big Train - "English Electric Part Two" (from the 2019 remaster.

Back to the BBT'thon and studio album #7. This album saw Dave Gregory and Danny Manners credited as full band members for the first time and really set the tone for the next few years. #np Big Big Train - "English Electric Part One"
