One Man Underground

Hello. I've uploaded some of my music to @subvert.fm. With Bandcamp seeming to shift from one billion-dollar owner to another, this seems like a good opportunity for a cooperative-led alternative. Subvert might be it. Prices are currently in US$, but slightly cheaper than BC x buff.ly/zgTlwps

If one good thing came out of the Strictly/trans censorship debacle, it's that I've now heard of Not A Phase @notaphaseorg.bsky.social 🏳️‍⚧️

How serendipitous that I should find this in my loft in the same week as...

In lieu of taking out a mortgage, can anyone recommend a way of getting A24 discs from the US to the UK, or any UK-based resellers? x

Stuff yer Bad Bunny, THIS was a halftime show

"I am not complicit" I'm gonna say this all day

My second 10k after over a year out. If it weren't for those hills going out of Dedham, I'd have done it in under 50. Oh well. Edinburgh marathon booked for the end of May, need to get a few more 10ks and halves booked in before then I reckon...

Can't believe it's been 25 years since them slags etc.

- It's all just a big game to you lot isn't it? - Yes.

A little while ago, I recorded some theremin and didgeridoo parts for my good pal Pettaluck. The fruits of my labour have been released today, just in time for Bandcamp Friday... pettalucksongs.bandcamp.com/album/smash-...

So. Farewell then, Ski Sunday.

Bloody hell. No wonder his London gigs are cancelled...

Elon Musk: Haha I’ve done it. Surely I am now THE most embarrassing man in the world! Graham Linehan: Hello. Elon Musk: Shit!

25 years since one of the all time great British comedies debuted. "We're all twats!"

International icon in every sense of the word, Dolly Parton has tragically passed away at age 80. chaser.com.au/general-news...

Gig alert! Again! This time, I'm in Leigh-on-Sea on Saturday 10 October, supporting @mplater.bsky.social on his UK tour, alongside Plantman and Tim Williams x

Gig alert! One of 2 for October, in fact. This one's at Colchester Arts Centre, as part of their excellent Edgelands festival, featuring headline slots from Plaid and u-Ziq. I'm playing on Friday 16th with some local aural craftspeople... Tickets at buff.ly/JhcBezo x

Ten minutes of pure joy. You know it's not called 'Teenage Wasteland', right?

I knew I'd seen that half-arsed posing somewhere before

I wouldn't call myself a cartoonist, but I had the vision and just needed it to be on paper to the best of my ability.

I was told to make a video for the socials to plug Saturday's gig. Am I doing it right?

Album number 2 is starting to take shape. Hear some of it on Saturday, and use the code Lee to get £2.50 off x colchesterartscentre.ticketsolve.com/ticketbooth/...

25 years ago today...

I am looking for an animator, to work with long-term. Ideally something stylised - my ideal would be Eddie Campbell, but animated. Please holler at me, and quote me for, say, ten one-minute animations of audio sketches and stand-up bits. (Ideally I’d put one out a week.)

It looks like I'm doing 2 live shows in October. So what the heck - let's see if I can make a tour of it. Reply/DM if you're interested in having me play some theremin at your establishment. 10th and 16th are booked, I'm busy from 24th onwards, but everything else is up for grabs (+ late September)

Hmm...

As someone who despises Farridge and actually has a vote in the upcoming by-election, I find this whole thing extremely depressing.

Guess I'm voting Binface then.

Celebrating today by listening to Madonna's American Life rap on repeat. You know I'm satisfied.

Just signed up for @nebula.tv because of @shadowtodd.bsky.social. Any hidden gems I should look out for on there?
