Out of Context Mickey Mouse Comics

Welcome to this fun, goofy Out of Context account. Here, I highlight and share the very silly, surprisingly aggressive, and unfortunately dated moments of this classic Mickey Mouse strip. I hope you enjoy, or at least find interesting, these old school panels.

Time to see Wildwood! Reeeeeally hope it lives up to the hype

NANANANANANANANANANANA-NAH! BLOT-MAN!

Tune in next week Same blot time, same blot channel!

I've been reading some of Ashita no Joe recently and after all these years, it still holds up impressively. Such a fascinating, engaging manga that lives up to its reputation in ways that many other series can't. Rest in peace to a legendary creator

Can anyone help me with some identification? At the end of this Mickey Mouse tale I just finished, there's a group shot of all these villains in jail. I recognize them all except for these two, the short guy and the bigger guy with the mustache. Anyone know who they are?

Library Wars: Love & War A relevant shojo about protecting libraries, the freedom to read, standing up for your beliefs, government censorship... Oh, and romance. That was pretty good too with likeable, fun characters. One of my favorite Shojo titles ever.

10/21/26 And credits roll! Kingdom Hearts has been cleared! It says 27, but I really died 38 times all together. Got 94% of all the trophies too! Still a ton of fun after all these years. I'll scoop up the remaining trophies next. Onto Chain of Memories... once I get a new controller.
