Incredible job all around, while I am ashamed to have been absent, I know that everything worked out wondrously.

Just when I thought the work was all done, someone handed me a conga and asked me to join the pit orchestra. I had very little involvement music wise during this production.

It's incredibly honorable and exciting to know that we're doing what we love and supporting a great cause. The dreams and planning made were all worth it, thank you VRD for all you do and more.

What a great weekend full of music. I just wish there was an extra 8 hours in the day for sleeping.

I started loving work and became extremely rusty at expressing myself through music. I'm sure there's a balance between loving them both.

Amazing job on all fronts, I'm saddened with my absence but it quickly subsides with all the stories and experiences flooding in from friends and coworkers alike in and outside of the VRD circle. I am proud of every single one of you who attended, staffed, hung out, and or passed by.

What a month, this would now be my 7th time helping manage a music festival. The difficult part is constantly being in a new department every time. The redeeming aspect is constantly meeting with international artists and playing difficult pieces. Oh, what a time to be alive.

From the loud days, social events, and busy nights. There's always been music to fit the mood. These two moments reminded me of "Jupiter Hymn from The Planets" by Gustav Holst. Such a grand emotion to be had looking back at your work or just contemplating under the night sky.

The journey has been very exciting thus far, and it's not even close to ending. Thank you to everyone for joining me on this story, and I hope to see you all the next time I'll see you.

A true test of musicianship. Having a long improv session with 5 other incredibly talented musicians was not on my bingo list for this year. It was incredibly insightful to know where I lacked and where I excelled. There's always something new to learn.

It's been a while since I've just sat down and enjoyed company. Never a dull day about but it's nice to have nothing to do in between bouts of work.

I've been worn out quite a bit from music. I love the smiles and the ideas that are shared amongst the different age and ethnic groups, but darn is it hard to keep it going without a break. Makes me wonder whether making it more than a hobby was wise and worthwhile. There's only one way to know.

I had the wonderful opportunity to attend the Autumn Festival, where I learned so many things about Taiko drums and Japanese folk songs.

The only appropriate way to meet new people.

Sure I may not be where I want to be but at least I'm not where I was. That's something I look forward to.

Whether I'm playing music or not, it's the familiar faces that make the experience all the more worthwhile

It's no surprise that self doubt is something that regularly plagues my mind, the only important part is that I'm trying to get over it. Whether it's my competence as a musician or photographer, all that matter is that I'm trying my best.

Have some photos I took while attending a music camp in Australia. Oh how I wish to relive the memory.

The Australian International Music Festival was one of the best memories that I still recall to this day. Being able to play in places such as the Opera House and Townhall were things I never would've dreamed of.

I didn't have the best device for taking pictures but I did what I could. Here's some photos I took when I was on tour in Japan back in 2018. It's an experience I'll never forget and still cherish to this day.
