Building #UI in #Godot is tedious... Building a #plugin for building UI in Godot is diabolical😂 I'm kinda getting somewhere, but this is not a smooth ride🤠 Also, I need to add more blocks like inventory, shop, minimap, etc. Here's a little preview. Share your thoughts/ideas🤔 #gamedev #indiedev

This time, I wanted to try something different, so I made Dev Studio a paid #app (one time $4.99 with a 20% launch #discount = $3.99). originlessgamer.itch.io/dev-studio-t... If it doesn't sell in 1 year, I'll make it #free😅 #productivity #todo #gamedev #indiedev #projectmanagement #tasks

originlessgamer.itch.ioDev Studio: The Gamified Project Manager for Game Devs by originlessgamerLocal todo app for game developers with dev and content tasks, webhooks, API and AI-ready infrastructure.

If you work 8 hours a day, 365 days a year, and complete 10 distinct tasks every single day, it would take you nearly 14 years to finish 50,000 tasks. Well, my todo app can handle that, but it probably can't handle the weight of your massive balls, otherwise why would you sit and do it for so long😂

Decided to make myself a little #todo app, so I don't need to track #progress in telegram or .txt or whatever😅 Trying to get a little fancy with project completion. Not as fancy as I wanted it to be, but it's a little more interesting than simple confetti😂 #appdev #inidedev #gamedev #productivity

Trying to reach singularity at this point😆 1. I built a separate 2D map #generator for my #3D tool 2. Optimized the #3Dterrain editor, updated UI, features 3. Island is fully editable and walkable My ~3 minute click-only flow is now: Map -> Texture -> Island I'm going insane😂 Release soon 💫

I just leveled up my low poly 3D terrain builder to include terrain generation from a pixel art image, it also supports textures from my procedural tile generator (or any other textures). Is this peak?😂 I tested it, it bloody works, let's goooo! #indiedev #gamedev #godot #procedural #terrain #3d

Made a little level editor for my low poly game I was choosing between: 1. Terrain3D plugin (from the video I saw it was too powerful and too realistic) 2. "Hardcoding" a level in #Blender (would be nightmare to adjust it) 3. Make my own plugin for #Godot, seems alright😅 (i dunno)

Here comes the animated alpaca, not too bad for something animated with code🤖 Currently I have: 1. Main character 2. Mob 3. "Tower" - that plant which aims at me but can't shoot yet (it should aim at the mob though😂) 4. Base So now I need to figure out the gameplay for that thing😆 #3d #indiedev

This psycho krankenhaus is getting more alive😂 I added a new mob - raccoon, it has a simple rig, and its animation is done via code. Next, I should animate my doggo, I mean, alpaca 🤠 And then things should be ready for some action💪 #3d #indiedev #godot #blender #prototyping #gamedev

Taking it one step at a time before I drown in scope creep again 😂 Oh wait.. there are no "steps" yet because I still need to figure out rigging and animation I started with a rough #prototype first to test the #game loop but this is my first try at #3D in #godot so the game comes next😆 #indiedev

Generating this house from an image using #meshy was not great, so I made it manually in #blender I noticed that #3Dmodeling manually allows for creation of separate elements, so you naturally build up your assets, this is how I reused that honey spoon for a lantern or upper window for the door's.

Just drew that #pixelart plant and made a #3d model from it without opening a #blender tutorial. That's not an exact match, textures are literally one color, and the UV map is horrible (it was actually better for the previous mob xD), but I'm quite happy that I have a new hobby to dig into now :D

#AI -> Manual cleanup 30 sec in #Meshy vs 3 days (~total 24h hours) in #blender (first try) Before blender, I kinda looked like the slightly beaten 1st llama, but you can see it was happy😇 After, I look more like the 2nd, which accepted the pain and has definitely seen some shit😂 #3d #3dmodeling

That thing doesn't look quite right😂 I wish #Meshy added more animal animations. In the meantime, I've already started losing my mind in #blender #AI output: 8.6k faces, 6.3k vertices My 1st retopo: 7.2K faces & vertices, 14.4k Tris #UV unwrap is bad, textures lost, I'm rebuilding it & suffering😆

A few days ago, I've drawn a new character, and thought it might play better in a modern city rather than a medieval one. The problem is how do I even plan a city?🤔 So I made another #free tool to help myself do just that😂 originlessgamer.itch.io/procedural-c... #procedural #citybuilder #maps

originlessgamer.itch.ioProcedural City Generator - Schematic Maps by originlessgamerBuild clean, structured, and visually legible modern city maps for your game worlds in one click.

I'm terrible at drawing houses or anything big, because the number of pixels I need to paint is overwhelming, but fixing them or clearing up is much easier. Still not a masterpiece, but god damn I think my app is useful (there should a meme of a lion liking his balls)😂 #pixelart #gamedev

Meet my new character🙌 I don't know what she does and where she goes, but I'm currently figuring things out😅 Finally got to enjoy my procedural tile generator, it really does speed things up. Can't say the same about the #character, still good old manual #pixelart grind😆 #indiedev #gamedev

I was thinking about my next project, and I'm terrible at mob ideas, so I made this creature prompt generator for quick inspiration. originlessgamer.itch.io/chimera-engi... It only generates text for now, but I could add images later. What do you think? #creature #tools #aiart #prompt #indiedev

originlessgamer.itch.ioChimera Engine: Creature Generator (Prompt) by originlessgamerI wanted to brainstorm creatures, so I made this generator to assist me.

So did releasing this game to the public make me a millionaire? Hell no😆 The sheer number of people that said my game is AI slop is insane. Do you think I should redo all the art manually? I honestly like the AI version better than my shit art. Thoughts? #pixelart #gamedev #indiedev

I just signed up for a Steam #developer account, already paid $100, uploaded docs and now: 🔍 2-7 days to verify me 🤪 30 days window of just waiting ✅ 1-5 days to get the game approved My first paid garbage #game will cost me: 💰Money: ~$240 ⏰Time: ~2 months Will it sell though?xD #gamedev

🤔 Fun fact: I started my "dev" journey in June 17, 2025 and today is almost the perfect day to summarize it (June 16, 2026) 🌟 Released: 5 📁 Archived: 7 💪 In development: 1 Some icons and pictures are wrong, but the infographic is pretty nice 😅 #gamedev #indiedev #aidev #progress #results #mindset

Today I tried to stitch together some textures for comparison to see if I can match my own style. Above is what I got from my custom-built texture generator and below is how I actually draw ✍️ Well, no miracles, it's a completely different style😅 #pixelart #gamedev

Alright, here's the look I was going for. If you know, you know, if you don't... well, I don't know either😂 I'll explain later in the video, because I'm still wrapping my head around it to be honest😆 #tileset #tilemap #procedural #generator #gamedev #indie #pixelart #assets #godot
